Tonight we had the pleasure of ordering from The Golden Tumeric and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of their food and their exceptional customer service. The food was not only delicious, but it also exceeded my expectations in terms of presentation and flavour.

In particular, we must mention the amazing squid bhajis which were simply outstanding. The squid was cooked to perfection and was accompanied by a perfectly spiced batter that made the dish simply irresistible. They came with a delicious sauce which added to the delight.

Something that truly impressed us was their customer service, including the fact that they waived our delivery fee. It was an unexpected and generous gesture that really went above and beyond our expectations. Thanks for your help and your kindness!

We were very pleased to find this oasis. Being food gourmets, we have tried a lot of Indian cuisine over the years, and this place surprised us with top quality.

A lot of good emotions here. My husband rated the Rajasthani Laal Maas as “hands down the best Indian meal in New Zealand”. Believe me, he is hard ro please! He was impressed by the use of the fine lamb cut and by the very well balanced taste and good level of spice.

I also found that in everything that we ordered the taste was balanced professionally without overuse of sugar or underuse of spice like it is sadly in other places.

Apart from that, the interior is super tidy and clean, and the customer service is professional as well like you would expect from a restaurant run with skill.

First time dining since change of ownership. What a difference! The place was packed on a Friday night. Last time we were there we were the only ones! Although very busy, the staff were attentive without being 'in your face' and the food when it arrived was beautifully presented and delicious. There was a bit of a wait, but they were exceptionally busy, so that's to be expected. My husband absolutely loved his meal - as did I - and I think this might turn into a regular Friday night thing.
