The Daily Coffee Co — Restaurant in South Island

Splendid spot. The coffee is good, solid coffee made just the way you like it, however you like it. We were warned about how good the rolls are, but let me tell you: they were even better. Top all that off with a bright, inviting atmosphere, bang-on music, and a genuine, charming owner/operator working hard to create an inviting community space and you've got a winner. 10/10 all around.

Accessible seating available with small manipulation, though tight quarters when busy. Outdoor seating available. Sensorily busy space, but it is repetitive and grouped rather than eclectic....

A few days ago (Nov. 27/23) we had the pleasure to grab a coffee at the Daily Coffee Co. While there is no shortage of good coffee shops in Dunedin, the Daily was a pure delight. The new owner was exceptionally kind and informative as she provided with an array of places to see and things to do and the coffee was simply devine. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming and although we refrained from eating the wonderful cookies and muffins....they were eye wateringly good. Price for our coffees very reasonable...would go back in a heartbeat. Happy customers...

Today we had the most awesome experience. We dropped in for coffee and discovered that we couldn’t use our credit card as being out of Towners on a cruise ship. The lovely owner informed us that they had a pay it forward system and our coffee was payed for by another previous customer. The coffee and staff were fantastic and we’d highly recommend this little hidden gem on Princes st Dunedin Z & P...
