Step inside and you would think it isn't much. But as you order the hotpot, you experience something entirely, the soup base may not look flash, but once you realised at these bases is prepared in-house and not like factory processed.

Most mainstream franchise restaurants use their own branded factory prepared spicy soup base, until you realised that it's usually processed with animal oils, while the flavour may be great, the after results of several hours till the next day is a regular trip to facilities.

The spin to this store is that the owner and chef are from a very uncommon region in China, the Jiangxi region.

The people from there are not widespread so to open a restaurant bearing their cuisine outside of their area is a very brave move.

Considering the restaurant industry operates on fairly low margins and the hours are long, owning the food business means they will never have much chance to have dinner at ideal times.

Give it a try, I think you will be surprised just as I was.

Tasty hotpot doesn't have to be totally unhealthy.

The chef concentrated on the soup bases, the dips and even near artisan grade of preparation for the meat shaving and presentation.

This place proves you don't need to be from a big city to archive your dreams.

Just had a late night dinner at this place. We ordered a plain base soup pot with beef/lamb slices, oyster mushrooms, dried fried tofu, glass noodles and kumara noddles with a combination of sauces. I’ve been here 5 times.

All was okay until we spotted one Chinese man smoking his e-cigarette INSIDE the restaurant. We notified a staff member that there was a customer smoking his e-cigarette inside. She said she doesn’t know, giving me an expression that she doesn’t understand. We told her TWO times. There was no action taken regarding that. He kept on smoking his e-cigarette inside. This is ridiculous. We are so disappointed. I recommended this place to my dad and he never wants to go back. It was filthy and disgusting. Highly recommend so many options to choose from. Awesome hotpot concept, and the broth was delicious. We ordered the spicy broth & the tomato broth duo. Ordered beef lamb veges tofu fish balls and prawns. All were delicious. I especially enjoyed the filled fish balls delish! The customer service was also really good.
