TANK Oteha Valley - Smoothies, Raw Juices, Salads & Wraps — Restaurant in Upper Harbour

Very disappointing experience when I came in today.

I ordered and paid on the self service machine (all berry full tank). After ordering I was informed they had run out of lids for the larger cup sizes, and she asked if that was okay, as I was taking the smoothie home for my mum- not having a lid was not an option is it would likely spill in the car.

She then said ‘we can put it in two smaller cups for you instead’ as an alternative. Not ideal, but I said yes as I was in a rush and figured that was a fair solution.

After looking into it, really disappointed to see that a full tank is 590mL and the mini is only 240mL, so I only got 480mL (about the size of a half tank). So I paid for a full tank at $11, and was skimmed about 20% of my drink.

Very misleading for the staff to suggest that as an alternative when it’s not equivalent, I understand thinks like missing stock can happen but this was handled...

Got some sour people on here... anyone even remotely relying on Google reviews to make decisions can only hope these sour reviews aren't all based on one visit when people are running late but still wanted that quick smoothie or salad in under two minutes (Pro Tip: Use the App - you're welcome.)

Anyway, I buy Tank smoothies more than I feel I should, sometimes, and I go to Tank branches all over Auckland multiple times a week. After a few visits, I realised these guys in Oteha make the some awesome smoothies They also seem to remember their usuals as I see a lot of people get acknowledged in there, almost like friends. Every one I've dealt with, specially the manager, makes Tank smoothies taste better than usual. Not sure what it is, but on point, every time apart from the one time a trainee did it, which is understandable.

This could all change when teams change, of course, but as of now,...

The worst customer service I’ve ever had. I ordered a lifeforce protein with spinach… it was ready 30 mins later… half empty, so thick that i couldn’t even suck through the straw. Completely tasteless - they must have missed out an ingredient, and on top of that - I paid for the spinach and there was no spinach in the smoothie. I took it back, they didn’t offer to remake or refund my money. I will never go to this tank again. Not to mention, everytime I have been here it’s taken forever to get the smoothie. Also the staff...
