Maki mono — Restaurant in Upper Harbour

Most of my experiences are good here but there is one lady who always seems to have an attitude, she never smiles and lets out an almost audible sigh every time I come and ask for a combination made to order as they don't stock it ready made. I have a favourite order for sushi no matter where I go to buy it, and it's super offputting that she makes me feel bad everytime for asking... Also would like to note that sometimes they stop taking custom sushi roll orders quite a while before closing... thought it was 1 hour out ( which is fair to be able to sell through their premade stock and clean down the stall) but it has sometimes been 2. $16.50 for a bowl of salad, some chicken and salmon sashimi slices and when I asked for some soy after payment, I was told I needed to pay extra, to which I responded I’ve just paid nearly $17 and you want me to pay extra for soy sauce!? Woman was incredibly rude to top it off as well, no thank you, nothing. Cannot believe this place charges extra for extra wasabi! Just give your customers enough for the sushi you have sold them & stop trying to make as much money as possible. Sushi was yuk too. I recommend going to any other sushi shop or starving over going here. Never...
