Something & Social Albany — Restaurant in Upper Harbour

I should start this by saying I tried emailing directly over a week ago and have never had a response. We came for date night before a movie and left extremely disappointed

The service was fine however the food was absolutely terrible. We ordered a pizza to share, the salami pizza. It has three ingredients. All three ingredients individually were terrible. I picked off the salami and Parmesan as they smelt off and tasted really foul. Even without 2/3 the 3 ingredients the sauce tasted terrible. The only positive was the base itself was nice.

If it was just the pizza maybe we could forgive that. But the margarita cocktail and lemon lime bitters we ordered were also shockingly bad.

The margarita was sour and the salt rim was weirdly sticky and sweet. The lemon lime bitters was missing any sweetness and had no fizz.

We went out of the way to book a table and planned on having a nice dinner out. We had no table reserved for us. And the food and drink were terrible.

Safe to say we are never coming back but we’re so disappointed as the location and setup would make it so good if you could get any of the above right.

Just went for a quick bite with a friend on Sunday afternoon. Was barely anyone there, no one served us, eventually after about 30min we ordered via the QR code. Despite ordering through their app I got the wrong coffee, was the worst coffee I've ever had as well, burnt, milk with the shot just plonked in the middle. We only ordered fries and a salad so thought about 30min wait since we ordered was a bit long for that (1hr wait at that point), fries were cold and came way before the salad so ate separately. Not very good thought out vegan options eg. only cheese pizza no other toppings, pumpkin & chickpeas, dry burger etc. Sad to see that first time trying it was like this as thought it might be a good place to continue going. Service was a bit slow we used the QR to order drinks, when we finally saw them sitting on the bar to be served it got to the point where my husband nearly went inside to just grab them himself. Then our fries were taking ages so our Son was getting restless as he was hungry. Went inside to get him some milk for his bottle, which they kindly accommodated for a small fee. But then we found out later the fries were forgotten but then the manager put it right. My husband then went back in to order a beer and another customer had come in and asked for some service at there table which probably isn't a great look.
