The 滕椒雞肉 is a revelation of flavor, a dish where the delicate tenderness of chicken meets the electric embrace of Tengjiao pepper. Each bite is a symphony—vivid, exhilarating, and unapologetically bold. The numbing spice dances on the palate like a fleeting spark, leaving behind a lingering warmth that comforts the soul. It is a dish that awakens, a melody of fire and earth crafted with precision and heart.
Then there is the 金湯魚, a bowl of liquid gold that radiates opulence. The broth glimmers like sunlight captured in a vessel, its flavor an intricate balance of tang and umami. The fish, tender as silk, swims in this golden elixir, absorbing its essence and delivering it to your senses in waves of pure bliss. This is not just a dish but a moment of transcendence, a taste of the sublime that lingers long after the last drop is savored.

Read moreFirst time here and the experience wasn’t great. The service was fine, mostly self-service. I ordered the Spicy chicken so I can only speak on that. Firstly the price is on the high side compared to other places’ spicy chicken ($36). When it came to my table I was happy to see such a big plate, thinking the portion would be good but quickly I realised it’s 90% chilli and 10% chicken. I ate all the chicken within afew minutes and was digging around hoping to find more chicken (you can see the photo to get an idea of how much chicken there was). What’s worse is that although they made it authentically and it could’ve tasted amazing but unfortunately the chicken taste like it’s been frozen for a long time and had no chicken taste anymore. So in the end, the lunch cost quite a bit, didn’t taste very good and left me still feeling hungry even though I don’t usually need to eat much...
Read moreA little pricey. Can the staffs tie up thier long hairs?

Really surprised that's something you do not know before as a restaurant owner.
I have been here before, and to be more specific after tasting the food again, it's not worth the money. Average and salty. The attitude of the restaurant owner is rude and arrogant. People are giving your constructive opinions, you don't seem to be able to hear any. This is none about so called NZ culture and respect, I'm talking about food hygiene, hospitality standard here and trying to help you enhance your service. What...
