Orient Express — Restaurant in Waikato

After watching a movie at the incredible Regent Theatre, we headed to the Orient Express, and it was fantastic! The food was excellent, but what really stood out was the wonderful service. Our server was attentive and always made sure our food was perfect, that we had enough to drink, and checked if we needed anything else. She offered great advice on the menu, and if there was something she didn’t know, she went to the kitchen to find out. It was the best service I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time! Each of us ordered something different, and everything was spot-on. The pizza, burger, and kebab were all amazing, and to top it off, we enjoyed a delicious baklava paired with tasty apple tea. This place is a real gem, don’t be deceived by its location, it deserves a visit.

We both had burgers. Whoever designed this burger really knows what they’re doing and obviously loves doing it.

The chicken was perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside, soft and succulent inside, the bun lightly toasted and fresh, the layering impeccable (who likes a soggy bun right?)

Further to this, the place is spotlessly clean and tidy, even the window sills are spotless.

Service was friendly and fast.

This place puts much more expensive restaurants to shame. My advice would be to dine here asap before they realise how good they are and put...

Food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Ishkender, Donnar kebab and the Chocolate Brownie for dessert. They were amazing, served beautifully and awesome sized portions. The servers were very friendly and wait time was quick. The server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night.
