Replete Cafe & Store — Restaurant in Waikato

Very rude staff member with terrible customer service. Yesterday I had purchased a wallet for my husband , one of those cool looking ones that slide the cards up. I knew he wanted one for ages. Sadly, it ended up not being the right one for all his cards and the wallet felt not sturdy enough. After searching the policy this company has on returns they state it is completely fine to return and I also had the receipt, box all brand new. This was less than 24 hours of purchase. Lady was very rude, said because she heard a conversation that it was the one he was looking for she wouldn't exchange... What? Also didn't want hear my side of the story just had an answer for everything and even mentioned the price on the box and saying she wouldn't take that back. Yes it was expensive for a wallet but that didn't mean be rude. Just the way she was about it all was nasty and melicious. With the store credit situation said it wasn't her problem (hands facing towards me) that I didn't live near the shop. All I wanted was a full refund as per your policy and you tried every trick in the book to kick me...

The food at the table ranged from excellently presented and tasting to something you would make when you can’t be bothered trying at all. A couple of the wait staff were very pushy and rude. One of the others took it upon themselves to remove an unfinished plate before my mother had finished the food she had just eaten. She commented to my mother "I will remove the temptation". When the manager was confronted about this, the reply was "she wouldn't have meant it" and walked away. Weather it was meant or not is beside the point. My mother was offended by the comment inferring that she didn't require the food on the plate. The management needs to train the staff to greet customers properly, not just bark at them to sit somewhere. Also to deal with a three quarter full restaurant and not pass stress through unnecessary and derogatory comments to customers. The 5 of us at the table will never...

A hot day in Taupo, a nice looking café off the main strip, what could go wrong?

Two friends and myself stopped in to Replete looking for something cold to drink and a bite to eat. The store front was appealing and there were quite a few patrons in line and out front. The staff were friendly and the iced coffees were decent, but the food certainly left some room for improvement.

If you're in to good food left to sit then microwaved when ordered - then this is the place for you. It seemed as though it was at one point made with love, but after the microwave dries out a bagel, makes vegetables turn to mush, and hardens cheese beyond the consistency of a cinder block, any love in this food died a slow irradiated death.

Stop in for a coffee, stay away from the microwave food. Perhaps something freshly made would be better, but I couldn't warrant the price for many items...
