The coffee and lemon slice we're both tasty . The coffee was very warm but not hot. The shop itself looked a little scruffy and in need of a bit of a spruce up. There was a good selection of sweet and savoury food in the display cabinet, and there were other hot meals that could be purchased. There was a fair amount of outside seating, and a good amount of inside seating. There is no view per se, just an outlook onto the street. The staff were neither friendly nor surly, just fairly neutral. The shop itself does not really have an ambiance or atmosphere per se, which is fine if that's what you are looking for. Great service. My partner loved her hotcakes with mascarpone and caramalised banana and I had a nice coffee. The eggs bene was nice and had a generous amount of bacon on it (as in, the amount of bacon you SHOULD have on eggs bene) but it was DROWNED in hollandaise sauce.

When you put hollandaise over eggs bene, you can just get about a tablespoon of sauce per egg and pour it over the top from the spoon. This was like the hollandaise had been poured out of a glass. That said, after removing a lot of the sauce the meal was still delicious and we left full and happy. Next time just a bit less...

Extremely rude to a customer who was buying coffee for their Jab FREE family member. Even though see was jabbed staff decide to be rude to her about her sister. Just lost 3 customers, them and myself. Owner responded to my review but rudeness is inexcusable.
