The food portions were small as. So small we had to order extra fries for $12! One of the main meals we ordered the fat on the meat was like uncooked, they offered to recook it on the grill. So we got them to do that, but we still had to pick out the uncooked pieces. The margherita pizza I ordered was just a cheese pizza with one basil leaf (Like the packets from the supermarket) on each slice. Google says that margherita pizza's should have tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, salt and extra-virgin olive oil. It didn't have tomatoes on it, or FRESH basil. Now we get to desserts we ordered two donut desserts, and one home-made ice-cream dessert. We ordered the desserts. One of the dessert comes (ice-cream), then the waitress say to us "it will take an extra 5 mins for the donuts, because the chef has to heat up the deep fryer". So 5 mins later, nothing, then 10 mins later nothing, then 15 mins the waitress says "The chef is just plating them up now", then 20 mins the two donut desserts come. Went on a Friday night. Had live music which was really good and created such a great vibe. I had the pork belly which was very good the jus was excellent. The staff were so very kind to swap out the slaw for a green salad for me. The only thing I could say to improve the dish would be for the pork belly crackling to be crisper as it was a bit rubbery rather than crisp. The fish on the fish and chip meal was very stodgy and not very nice. The calamari was delicious but was expensive for what you received. The Mac and cheese bites were very tasty. The garlic bread was OK it was just weird how it had balsamic reduction all over it. The mocktails I thought were not worth it they didn't taste like anything other than juice and think they could definitely be improved. The pasta meal lacked a little and didn't have alot of flavour or pulled beef which was dissapointing. The staff were very friendly and nothing was an issue...

Went there for their 10th anniversary dinner, can’t fault the food. The food is nice. Though... They stated “2 for 1 meals for every starsocial member”. Key word is “every”. This was not the case. It was per table, regardless that their website stated per bill. As there was 6 of us going and we were not going to pay in full for in one bill, this clearly sounds like it means per paying costumer, as in the starsocial member can only use this deal once. As this was a rare family outing and we are locals to this bar and was looking forward to a nice meal, I feel lied to. I will not go back for a good while.
