BurgerFuel Upper Hutt — Restaurant in Wellington

01/08/22 - UPDATE - I believe in giving people a second chance but, OMG these guys must attend a “how not to (hospitality)” course to be this epic at fail. Always have your ID ready because their only response after they have lost/ignored your prepaid, online order is to constantly ask your name. 3 staff (including manager) needed to know who I was so they could show me another customers order, prove they had no idea of my order, my payment or where we were at in the order/sale/purchase/supply/identification of failure/refund sequence. No acknowledgement of error or apology just feeble attempts to appear to look like they were dealing with the situation. They then rang me 27 minutes after leaving the store (without requested refund) 30 minutes after the pick up time to tell me my order was ready. The amazing staff member then asked if I would like to come back and pick up the order or a refund? I order online in an attempt to save time, so of course I’d love to stop what I’m now doing and drive back to the place that just refused to refund me because I didn’t give them my name a forth time, for goods I had ordered that they failed to provide in the indicated time, Same staff as my last review. GOOD LUCK BURGERFUEL UPPER HUTT?

18/04/22 - Just not what it used to be. I get it, covid related staffing issues right? Soooo not paying enough? Pick up time pushed out from 18:41-19:14. Inconvenient. Chips under cooked, shakes were like chocolate milk. Not up to usual high standards. UPDATED 23/05/24 - still well below the price point based on service delivery, slight improvement though only 16...

Fantastic Family Experience at BurgerFuel Upper Hutt!

Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting BurgerFuel Upper Hutt with my family, and it was an exceptional experience from the moment we arrived. Conveniently located in the heart of the market area, it was surprisingly easy to find parking nearby, which made things even better.

The atmosphere inside was vibrant and refreshing, creating a welcoming vibe that we instantly loved. We were warmly greeted by the staff, who were not only friendly but also highly knowledgeable. They patiently guided us through the menu and offered excellent recommendations for both burgers and thick shakes.

The food was served at just the right temperature, fresh and full of flavour. The kids were thrilled!! especially my son, who, with a big smile, exclaimed, “Hmmm, it’s yummy and crunchy munchies!” as he enjoyed his burger and sipped on a strawberry thick shake.

The service was outstanding, and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. A thoughtful touch was the art station for kids, complete with colouring sheets and crayons, which kept them happily entertained.

21/11/2022 I was served by a beautiful young lady. It was my birthday and I ordered the BBQ ROADSTER burger. I have to say it was THE BEST burger I have had in my life!! Even personalized down to HAPPY BIRTHDAY written on my burger package! That made it even more special and made me smile! It's the details and going the extra mile that makes it more special... 110% service!!! I will be coming back for MORE!! The lady who served me had OUTSTANDING customer service! Quality I haven't seen in a longgggg time from other restaurants or service places. When you go the EXTRA mile, by showing kindness and spreading light into someone's life.
