Chipmunks Playland & Café Brewtown — Local services in North Island

I would just like to say my experience yesterday for the first time coming to Chipmuncks in Brewtown was really lovely. All the staff we very polite and friendly. Our 3 sons and daughter had 2 birthday parties to attend that day. Saturday 1st April. One party at 11am- and one party in the afternoon at 230pm.

Extremely kind staff!! But one young man stood out immediately!!! His name was Corry nice big friendly smile and another girl with him who had short colored hair. Didn't catch her name but she was also lovely and friendly. Excellent customer service and well spoken in communication. When I asked for a price of a hat for my son they both went to check the price there and then. My son ended up getting a hat in a goodie bag at the end of his friends party. What a bonus!

I just wanted to take a few minutes to write this message. To encourage the Staff keep up the wonderful work. Taking time and being friendly is exactly what attracts people to this center. I am considering on having my sons birthday parties here just because of this encounter with how awesome the party setup was for my friends. Decent price and incredible Staff who help and engage with their customers.. Thank you with gratitude and we will see you soon. Definitely will have my kids parties here! Beats any other venue I've come across...

Hi all I am a support Worker and I took my lovely clients who have intellectual and physical disabilitys to chipmunks Playland brewtown this morning hoping for a lovely time at the Playland and a nice lunch out! But unfortunately we were told they were not allowed there by the rude staffs the place was empty and our clients have always been allowed in other indoor Playlands this made us feel very judged and disrespected. We sadly had to leave with disappointment on our faces and hurt in our hearts. I personally think this is very unfair for my clients as they absolutely love going out and playing (especially on a rainy day) I felt like as soon as I said they have intellectual and physical disability the staff just looks at me with a look on her face and said no they cant come in because they are adults and they will cause more wear and tear (most kids are accompanied by adults who also play on the playgrounds with their children) I think this was a cheap way to say we dont want them here! im absolutely just disgusted with this place and I flet so sad to have to tell my clients we cant go in because we are not allowed!...

We recently had my daughters birthday party at this venue and were so pleased with our experience. The staff we very friendly and accommodating for the couple of hours that we were there, always making sure we were happy and looked after, even offering a cake cutting knife and lighter in case we hadn't taken them along with us.

The party room was being used for another party before our one began and when the room was ready for us, it was all completely cleaned and tidy, you wouldn't even know there was a room full of kids, food and cake in there before us.

The food came out exactly on time and the kids had an amazing time on the playground with such a variety of activities for all ages. Would definitely recommend and am very thankful my daughter had a great party at...
