Magnificent, exquisitely conceived, painted and wonderfully presented exhibition by Heather Main. Oh to spend all that time in her magical land. I will be back to see it again as there was so much to take in. This is the first time I have been to Whirinaki Whare Taonga and I loved its exhibition spaces.
However I do not believe the cafe/bakery is up to par or client focussed enough. We came across from Kapiti for this exhibition and were absolutely disappointed by the food. This really should be a cafe providing cafe food and drink. I believe it would undoubtedly make a higher income and provide what is actually needed...
