Visited this sandwich shop recently and had a mixed experience. When I walked in, I noticed there were four staff members at the counter, each busy with tasks like making coffee, taking orders, and preparing sandwiches. With the number of employees and few customers, I expected quick service. However, it turned out quite the opposite. It took about 15 minutes to get a toasted sandwich, which seemed too long considering the situation. It felt like the staff could be more efficiently organized, especially in making sandwiches.
On to the prices – they're on the higher side. Paying $12 for a steak and cheese sandwich feels over the top, especially when it's pretty basic in terms of presentation and flavor. Honestly, it wasn't much different from a standard steak and cheese pie you'd find at a local dairy. P.s I did ask for no lettuce and remove tomato sauce as don't like it, which both was done. Now being the brit I am I expected a buttery roll with a runny to half runny fried egg and a decent to lots of bacon. What I got was maybe 2 or 1 and a half slices of bacon and a solid fried egg that all I could taste was pepper. Couldn't find any butter, mayo in sandwich was ok but was just super super dry. I want to go back but the menu just seems to have combo of flavors that I just would want...

I'd already had enough vice for the day when I arrived for lunch but my friend enjoyed his flat white. I ordered the Cubano and my friend ordered the ploughman's. However did to a dumb mistake on our part we picked up each other's sandwiches. We where halfway through before we checked so you know they weren't bad. Overall a really great sandwich in a nice, chilled spot. Highly recommended. Drink selection could be better but they do cold brew which I'm keen on so maybe...
