Discovered the ultimate fried chicken spot in New Lynn, and it's already our go-to. Seriously, it’s that good!

A blend between crispy KFC and spicy Nando's, this is almost a fusion of the two, with a delicious outcome and fresher flavour at a better price point.

So far we’ve sampled their Classic Chook, Tokyo Teriyaki, OG, Chilli Cheese, Chicmate! wrap, Pressure Fried Chicken pieces, nibbles, fries, hash nugs, curly fries, and shakes. The burgers? Fresh, juicy, crispy chicken perfection, and seriously good beef patties too. Sometimes maybe a little too generous with the sauces. The fries? Crisp, flavorful, and generously seasoned. But don't bother with the shakes.

One large fries easily feeds a few, and half a burger is perfect for the smaller ones.

Wait time averaged around 10 minutes, but trust me, the quality and servings are worth every second. And the place is spotless with comfortable booth seating.

The crew here is super friendly, and accommodating for those with allergies. While most items have chilli, egg (mayo), or sesame (teriyaki), they happily whipped up some blackened chicken for us without any fuss.

Extremely disappointing experience. I was excited to visit in person with two others to try some sweet treats, but we were left very disappointed by the service. We ordered a waffle combo, Oreo nuggets (3 pieces), and a regular-sized fries. The staff member taking our order was mumbling and difficult to understand.

While we waited, we watched several other customers order and leave with their food. After waiting over 30 minutes, we had to go up and ask where our order was—only to be told that the waffle combo couldn’t be served because it came out raw. It shouldn’t take half an hour to find that out.

To make matters worse, we didn’t even receive the fries or Oreo nuggets. After all that time, we left with nothing. A heads-up earlier—or at the very least providing the rest of our order—would have made a big difference.

They did provide a refund, and the employee apologised and encouraged us to come back again soon. However, due to the long wait, poor communication, and overall experience, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this...

Had an excellent dinner here tonight. My husband ordered three thigh pieces and I got the Sweet Money Chicken burger + regular combo (chips and a can of drink).

The chicken thighs and breast piece on the burger were perfectly cooked - juicy, tender and a really good coating - wasn't all soggy and falling off (looking at you kfry).

My chips were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside just as you want - and coated in a really nice seasoning.

When we ordered we were told it would be a 15 min wait - but it only took 10. Looks like any early teething problems with timing that others have mentioned in older reviews has been resolved. That was with 2 other big orders in front of us too.
