It was horrific. It wasn't busy when we arrived so we were scrolling through the menu. Two people were at the service was a young man not even in uniform (with a tall Polynesian) told us we had not many choices due to the fact that they had only spices chicken. I then had to change my order because he talked so fast and I went back to an original because my father can not eat spicy foods due to his thyroid. We told them we would wait because it meant we had to wait for 25 minutes for the original recipe and we agreed we would. This led to the boisterous young lad to come out and string us along. He pretended to that our food was still not ready and said that the food he had in his hand was for Uber but people that were in the carpark for orders had left ten minutes before. He pretended to call out to Uber that didn't exist and went back in with our order in their back door. Then he came back out with nothing and went back in again through the front with no paper bag. My daughter then decoded to go in, they finally gave our food but it was low grade. It smelt like leftovers and was burnt chips like it got recorded and soaked with oil. I have never been disgraced so much by this particular KFC place so much. $45.99 to be bullied and humiliated just to get food for my Papa and family. I will never eat at KFC ever again. It is a shame because we are regulars. Never ever will I buy from them. The chips were burnt on purpose. Sad. These people need to be in therapy. We should be re imbursed. Funny when he realised he was locked out he says if you want your money back we can give you back his money. For a few seconds he was shunting for his life. He knew he did something wrong. Why do we have to get hassled for? It's hard earned money for expensive food. Service just killed it and it being deliberately burnt. What is the...

Unfriendly staff at last window of drive-through between 10:07pm to 10:35pm:

-no eye contact, the drive-through window was shut in my face straightaway when a cup and a paper bag were placed on the small platform without confirmation of the items that were ordered.

-hot food items weren't placed in correct box according to the image as advertised at the entrance of drive-through. Potato & gravy within the deluxe quarter pack was not sealed properly/with dent and was spelt inside the paper bag and over the seat.

-I have asked for the serviettes to clean up the potato gravy which was not enough to clear the whole spillage. Went back to the drive through again and informed the staff at last drive-through window about the potato gravity container was not sealed properly, which has spilt over the seat - with the response "it's not my fault". I have requested for complaint on paper on the spot due to the unfriendly attitude of that staff and wasn't willing to assistant the issue appopriately which has been caused by the incorrect packaging. I was told I can only do it online without further information given.

returned back to first drive-through once more so I can obtain the correct information about the complaint procedure. I have also asked for refund as the hot food in paper bag were not eaten and had the potato gravy spillage over them. This request has been rejected by the staff. At the end, I was left with hot-turned-cold food covered by potato gravy with unsatisfied feeling for the visit at KFC New Lynn.

I live in New Lynn, so I visit this branch frequently. On some occasions, they haven't got my order right; but that's not the emphasis here - they have excellent managers! Understandably, a Drive Thru store can be busy and mistakes do happen, leading to some dissatisfied customers. However, what they've done in the face of my dissatisfaction last night is absolutely phenomenal and ensures I will be returning to their branch, as a customer.

I popped through the drive thru around 9PM on Friday(04/10/24) and realized that my order wasn't right, only after getting home. I returned to them and asked for the manager. I was told she was on break; however she still came to attend to me, which is greatly appreciated. I explained the issue with burgers and she promptly offered to make fresh ones as originally ordered. She also offered me a drink for the inconvenience and then even offered me extra chicken, which I declined as there was no issue with the chicken I ordered. The staff were very friendly and professional; and the manager (who said she's a shift manager) was beyond exceptional. It had to be appreciated and so my review today.

Overall, I went in dissatisfied and left, a valued customer. Highly appreciated and commendable showing. We see loads of paragraphs telling us what they do wrong, so let me break the cycle and highlight what they do exceptionally well.

Today I ordered chicken online from KFC New Lynn but accidentally selected the wrong pick-up time—1 PM instead of 6 PM. Realizing the mistake, I called the store, and the lady I spoke to assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem to have the chicken ready at 6 PM instead. She told me to come in at 6 PM for a fresh order. When I arrived at the store at 5.30 PM, I was surprised to see my order already ready. The staff simply retrieved the two buckets of chicken from the warmer. This raised some concerns, but I hoped for the best. Unfortunately, when I got home, I noticed that the receipt still showed the pick-up time as 1 PM. As feared, the chicken was cold, soggy, and tasted like it had been sitting in the warmer for hours. I tried calling the store to address the issue, but the phone was left ringing for 10 minutes with no answer. This lack of responsiveness, combined with the poor quality of the food, was extremely frustrating. I’m really disappointed with this experience. The chicken was soggy, dry, and far from the standard I expect from KFC. This incident has made me seriously reconsider ordering from this location again.

Please just listen to your customers, or send someone can actually lead the crew here to supervise the survice quality. I ordered regular bucket twice recently, one in store, the other drive through. I told at least 2 different ppl that I dont want any chicken breast piece politely for at least 4 or 5 times - ive had enough of that in my healthy meals. But they just WONT listen, they just put 3-4 pieces of chicken breats taste like cardboard. Everytime I open the meal box I feel like being mocked, they really dont care about what customers think.

Please just listen to your customers, or send someone can actually lead the crew here to supervise the survice quality. I ordered regular bucket twice recently, one in store, the other drive through. I told at least 2 different ppl that I dont want any chicken breast piece politely for at least 4 or 5 times - ive had enough of that in my healthy meals. But they just WONT listen, they just put 3-4 pieces of chicken breats taste like cardboard. Everytime I open the meal box I feel like being mocked, they really dont care about what customers think.
