We've visited twice in 3 days. The food is filling and tasty and the service is great too.

This restaurant is not an official money exchange, it's a local restaurant. Don't expect to pay in dollars and get close to the official exchange rate. If you want this you need to go to a currency exchange. The owners of this establishment have every right to offer you whatever exchange rate they want to because it's not an official money exchange or bank. The official currency of the country is ACTUALLY Cordoba - all menu items are in cordobas so I'm not sure why you tried to pay with dollars anyway. Take your dollars to an exchange if you want a good conversion. FYI you should be reviewing the food/service and not some imagined extra service they obviously...
Read moreMy wife and I grabbed some pork tacos and fish tacos for a quick afternoon snack today. Tasty tacos, fair prices and prompt friendly service. I would return to try other things. Tasty hot sauce as well. A simple small space and quite neat and clean. I love a beer with my tacos but unfortunately they don't serve beer. Not the end of the world, I wouldn't rate it worse because of that. A cold Coke will do in a pinch.
Disregard the poor exchange rate reviews from those two naive travelers. Taco shops aren't banks. It's Nicaragua guys, pay with Cordobas. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go give the bank a bad review for not...

The nachos were very watery and the chicken on top did not taste great, plus a very thin cheese like sauce was added on top which tasted strange. The burritos were dry and did not have a lot of taste, they were even on the edge of burned. There was no sauce and the meat was also dry here. Overall, the food is quite cheap but to me not high quality. Personally I wouldn’t go again, but maybe we tried the wrong items off the menu. The waitress and chef were friendly. You can only pay in cash, but that was no problem...
