805 Restaurants Abuja — Restaurant in Wuse II

Was there last night with a friend for dinner and I ordered a fresh squeezed orange juice with my meal, but it wasn't brought to me until after I finished my dinner and on top of that it was made from rotten oranges, therefore I asked for a replacement. And when I got the replacement I found out that it had the same taste so I asked for a better lemon instead, but when I got my bill I discovered that I was charged for 2 orange juice then I asked the waiter to from one of the charges, but he said that it wasn't possible, because the bill had already been printed. So in this case we asked to speak with the manager, but she refused to attend us. At this time we started to get upset for the absolutely lack of customer service, therefore a lady friend I was with decided to approach the manager and then the manager started fighting with her instead of offering an apology for the situation. This is absolutely unprofessional, and I will never go back to the place or recomend...

I had a quick lunch with my family at 805 sometime last year and it was, overall, a great experience.

I ordered the Coconut Rice and Oxtail (it also came with a sauce). The rice was very very good; it wasn’t soggy, the coconut taste was very present, tbh, for me, the rice didn’t really need the sauce (that accompanied the Oxtail) - it was that good. I also loved the Oxtail, it was soft and tender and boneless (for the most part). The sauce was good but it needed a bit more flavor and the veggies were overcooked (a bit).

I tasted that Oha Soup and it slapped! Sheesh, that thing was beautiful! It also had ponmo scattered around 🤤

The fries, plantain and Chapman were regular. Nothing special but not bad at all!

The service was great (the waiter was very polite and helpful - this should always be the case but 🤷🏾‍♂️), the wait time was about 30 minutes, and the portions are relatively plentiful.

Can’t remember all the prices but I know the Coconut Rice and Oxtail...

The restaurant is located in a good area within the FCT. The location is very accessible from different routes. Car safety is note worthy as Visitors can either park in or outside the restaurant, with local security on duty. The ambience in 805 is commendable. The menu has a variety of everything. Though one would wish that everything on the menu is readily available at every point of visit. Anyways, staff reception is good and the pricing is kind of fair for an eat-out experience. Lest i forget, food quantity is about okay too. Time taken to have meal ready is also not bad but if you have to eat at the space by the bar downstairs, u need to be prepared for possible occasional noise disturbance if anyone orders any of the fruit juices, as the blender is operated not too far from where you...
