The bartender was extremely rude and aggressive. The minute we sat down he came over and asked me in a loud, hard voice if there was any particular reason why I was wearing a bloody costume. I was wearing a cape and fake ears. It was my stag party -we where planning to have one or two beers before heading home to party. Read moreCentral to the city but I missed the first time- the bar is off the street, down a small hallway and up a set of stairs. Dark moody vibe. Very quiet - just you, your friends and beer Strong draft beer menu with a variety of styles, mostly from the Nordics but with some Belgians and Germans mixed in. I suspect there is a high bar to get on the menu here. Handful of bottles beers, including Cantillon if that’s your thing. Bartender was very helpful in directing me to beers I would like and away from the few “hipster beers” (think kettle sours). 100-150kr per beer. Incredible craft beer bar, a hidden gem that can compete with the best...

It is not a big place, but it has a great, kind of intimate atmosphere, thanks to its interior design and NO MUSIC playing from any speakers. After walking around the city, the soft seats are a blessing. As for Norway and for craft beers, prices are reasonable, starting from...
