Our visit started off on the wrong foot when I was spoken to for simply pointing in the direction of a painting — no touching, no crowding, just a gesture. After that, we felt noticeably watched throughout the museum, which unfortunately made it hard to enjoy the experience.
We absolutely respect the importance of preserving artwork, but the level of supervision felt excessive for a quiet and respectful visit.
