I should preface the following review that we might have arrived at some sort of peak time (1.40 pm on Sunday). A real mixed bag of feelings with this place, but overall recommended to visit. The food, friendly staff and atmosphere is great. Based on the food quality and tastiness, you won't regret coming here - they serve a variety of soup and salad. There's a story to be told with the decoration, and it's an experience. But the service is non existent, slow and frustrating - so you need to arrive with an abundance of patience if there's any queue. I was close to falling asleep while standing in the queue. See, their process isn't quite refined yet and it takes ages to serve each customer. We had like 5 people ahead of us and it took over 20 minutes (measured) for them to serve those 5 people what amounts to either a bowl of salad or soup each, to then serve us. And since there's no table service, you have no choice but to queue and stare for a while. But the food was great!

The food at the Daily Pot was absolutely 10/10 – we tried the Asian Pot Soup and the Meat Power Bowl, both of which were incredibly tasty and came in generous serving sizes. The flavours were spot on, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. However, the overall dining experience was let down by the lack of staff. The tables were often full of stacked dirty plates, and it took ages to get a spoon to eat our soup and a refill of napkins, despite asking. I felt particularly bad for the main staff member who seemed to be doing everything – serving customers, making meals, delivering food, and ensuring the self-serve cutlery table was stocked. In summary, come for the food, not the experience. The delicious dishes are definitely the saving grace of Daily Pot!

It’s a sunny day and there was a special occasion happening. The place was crowded with customers so we decided to stop by to eat our lunch. The place was quite small, but the ambiance was great. The menu was well written so it’s easy to pick out the order. Menu was look healthy and fresh and they made it from the bottom and served it super warm. The price list was affordable. Unfortunately the power bowls menu the one my friend order don’t have any dressing on it so it might be just normal to have no dressing. So far so good. The resto was very popular to point that it’s difficult to dine in so it’s better to reserve before coming or check and ask the owner if they have available sit.

Amazing concept, very simple, but extremely delicious soups with chunky parts and very filling! We tried several, ALL were great. Friendly staff. Very busy, so consider reservating a table by droppiong by early. The medium size bowl was plenty big for a normal person. Toppings on top of that.

Only downside, is that prices and meny card are quite limited online. A medium sized soup bowl is 119 NOK with 2 free toppings, large i think was 149 NOK. Rougly the same prices for the VERY delicious bowls of salad (big portions here as well!)

In Norway, this is EXTREMELY cheap for a very healthy meal, were a pizza easily costs 200 NOK.

The interieur is nice, with old wooded panels, but expect not to sit for a long time, kinda a cafe vibe where people come and go quite quickly. Definitely not a...

My only complaint was that there was very limited seating so we had to get take out.

With that being said, you can't go wrong eating here. The food was more affordable than most of Bergen, but the quality and portions make this a great choice (especially on a rainy day). The soup options were fantastic. My wife tried a Thai soup, while I tried more of a Tex-Mex style of soup/stew. Both allowed for customization beyond the fixed ingredients which allowed you to add a bit of your personal tastes to the existing creations. While we didn't have the "power bowls", I was shocked at the amount of food included. Definitely get the "bang for your buck" here!

On a final note, staff were exceptionally helpful and patient. They definitely helped the positive impression that we now...
