Just like the one in Jabal Akhdar, with a less tiring trek, the ice tea is AMAZING, and worth the trip!

The place is nicely decorated to blend in with the old cultural bazaar it's a part of, whilst notably having a few modern touches of courses.

We went during the day, which was a good choice considering you can see the surrounding fort walls, and vast amount of palm trees surrounding you.

There are both indoors, and outdoors seating available, but bear in mind that during the hot days, the outdoors experience can be quite uncomfortable. Both areas are designed traditionally to some degree.

The reason, and ONLY reason, I went to Anat Café is for their Sunset Ice Tea. I had two servings, and zero regrets. It literally tastes just as amazing as their other branch in the mountainous area, Jabal Akhdar (A must go to place if you have not done so already). This ice tea needs to find its way to central city SOON!

Please Note:

Just a heads up, the first door you encounter when walking through the alleyways is actually closed off temporarily. You will have to detour all the way round the block to find the "main entrance" to enter the cafè. They've actually done this to avoid their customers paying an entry fee to a linked tourism attraction situated beside the cafè.

Enjoy that Sunset ice tea, hopefully during a sunset, and also try their date pastry biscuit "Maamool", which is also...

Quick stop here after short ride on the electric vehicle that cost us 8OMR for 4 people … It was a very hot day yet you can enjoy a chilled beverages in an air conditioned seating hall … Order your drink and take it your seat and enjoy the mix of modern and classic worlds at the same time while sipping your cold or hot drink and have chat with your company … I would recommend you visit it before the sunset if you are not a fan of hot weather as you might want to walk through the old sooq/bazaar on your way. The same won’t be an issue if your visit is between mid October and end of march … 👍🏽old vibe that take you centuries back in time with surrounding remains 👍🏽humble menu yet I think it will meet your expectations 👍🏽local business 👍🏽coffee options and cold options … 👎not much to say for food 👎could be tricky if you don’t want to walk as you won’t find a parking nearby. Nearest parking is 350 meters, that through heat is not a distance you would take lightly 👎prices are tourist base, expensive …

Over all it was a different experience here in oman and a lovely stop to...

As lovers of specialty coffee, we were truly impressed by Café ANAT in Nizwa. While specialty coffee is widely available across Oman, nowhere have we found it prepared with such passion, precision, dedication, and genuine warmth as here. The ambiance is beautiful – stylish, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home.

A special mention goes to barista Qusay, whose latte art is nothing short of exceptional – crafted with both skill and heart. Café ANAT offers an impressive variety of beans from across Oman, expertly prepared using every brewing method imaginable – espresso, filter, hot or cold. They also create innovative coffee-based drinks blended with vibrant juices and flavors – there are no limits to their creativity. For anyone who truly appreciates great coffee and outstanding hospitality, this place is...

I recently visited Anat Cafe and I must say, the location of this cafe is simply stunning. Situated amidst nature, the ambiance of the place is calming and refreshing. I was pleasantly surprised by the range of unique beverages they offer, and I decided to try something new called the Mango Brew. And boy, was it delicious! The combination of mango and brew was just perfect, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something new and refreshing. The staff at Anat Cafe were extremely friendly and welcoming, and their service was impeccable. The seating area was comfortable and clean, and the overall experience was just wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great cafe experience in a beautiful natural setting. Don't forget to try the Mango Brew when you visit, it's truly a treat for your taste buds!
