Butlers Chocolate Café — Restaurant in Karachi Division

Worst thing I have ever eaten, it was unfathomable and I will never step foot in a place that sells such ghastly things and calls them desserts. Having chocolate in the name of the cafe was disrespectful in itself as the chocolates on display weren’t even cream but just paste in the form a delicacy, they themselves knew it wasn’t worth selling as it was part of a deal. Their molten lava cake was microwaved sugar mixed with eggs and was worse than a carrefour mug cake, their hot chocolate was room temperature milk with brown food coloring and sand on top, their coffee had no flavor at all and I was so disappointed by this point that I wasn’t even surprised, it was filled by ice cubes that could’ve sunk the titanic. Near the end we finally got our sundaes after already finishing everything and after taking one look I sunk to my knees and all I could do was pray for my sanity, you could barely see the brownie on the bottom, I didn’t bother tasting the ice cream but the chefs covered everything with whipped cream in hope we wouldn’t notice how bad the actual ‘desert’ was. Most bakwaas place I have ever gone to in my 15 years of living, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy to ever have to go through this. Please shut down for everyone living...

“The service was good but the quality of the food has fallen, the turmeric tea is not to try at all.” The above review was shared 3 years ago and it’s sad to see that instead of working on themselves in improving those this they’ve gotten worse. The service was terrible no one was bothered about taking our order actually they didn’t even hand us over the menu, after reminding them time and again we were handed the menu. The waffles did not taste anything like waffles weird burnt taste with berries on top(which didn’t taste right at all)the French toast aswell they were topped with those berries(I personally feel the berries were either expiring or expired so they were just trying to get rid of them)! The brunch sandwich was nothing but sheer disappointment, I was just flabbergasted at what I received! The club sandwich omg no meat inside but loaded with cheese! Let’s get to the flies (the fruit flies) there was a race between us and them, who gets to the food first, if we did to the food then it was all about sharing our food with the flies on our plate! Who is running the show there? Paid around 15K for all the above, not worth 500 in my opinion! Would appreciate the owner/management...

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Butlers Chocolate Cafe, Zamzama. I ordered a vanilla latte, expecting a balanced flavor, but what I received was incredibly bitter and strong. When I requested a replacement, the manager flat-out refused, suggesting I make adjustments to the existing drink instead. To my frustration, the changes made it taste even worse.

I complained again, and this time the waiter offered to replace the coffee with a takeaway option. However, when he consulted the manager, I was once again told no replacement would be made. The manager was shockingly rude, making unprofessional statements like, “We didn’t open a taste restaurant so you could keep changing your drink.” His attitude was infuriating and disrespectful—completely unacceptable behavior towards any paying customer.

As a customer, it’s my right to request a replacement if something doesn’t meet my expectations due to a bad recipe. This wasn’t just bad service—it was outright hostility. I sincerely hope action is taken regarding this manager’s attitude. I will not be returning until I’m certain this individual is no longer...
