I went here to celebrate a birthday on Monday 26th May 2025.
We sat opposite to the stairs as visible in the video attached to this review.
The table was not clean. I was never greeted by a server. I had to randomly ask some guy in the uniform to please arrange the cleaning as my elbow got some ketchup.
Dont get me wrong. I love Nandos and have enjoyed it in atleast 5 countries. But this was a horrific experience and points out why the cheapest Nandos in all of my experiences can be really rough.
Now I am waiting for someone to take order for about 15 minutes.. a guy cames rushingly apologizing and says sorry for being late to take your order and I smile and say it is Ok.
We had a child with us.. waiting for the child seat we had to ourselves grab it from under the stairs.. yet noone saw us and tried to help. If someone senior is reading this, they should check the cctv footage.
Now I order a full chicken with two sides and a trinchoda and peri bites with 2x diet drinks.
Peri bites arrive about 10 minutes.. I love peri bites so I eat 2 of them waiting for drinks.. raising my arms to get attention.. no body gets to attend us. I have had 2 of the peri bites and I am going to pay for a diet cola drink that I just cannot get at the right time.
No body is listen to us, our order got taken very late, I am unable to get something to drink.. I became furious and ask the lady at the front to connect me to the manager..
However she took me to the guy at the cash counter till wearing a black shirt. I told him I got the spicy peri bites but not the drink. No one is listening to me and I want to change the server as I was not able to see him or get any service. The guy at the counter said please sit at the table and he will get us someone to attend.
Another 10 minutes go by. And now I am stood up and went to the counter asked them to please charge me as I am not able to withstand this pain anymore and now the manager shows up and says that I will personally attend you.. at this moment the order taker guy also showed up.
I had taken the decision to the not eat at this location ever again, as there is no sense of hospitality here.
I love Nandos but this branch ruined my day and mood. I wanted to really make a scene but Icontrolled my anger.
Our server was a mid 40's guy with a beard, slightly long beard but not too long.
Ruined a birthday occasion...
Read moreOkay so - after being to and ordering take-out from different places at M.M Alam/Gulberg/Johar Town, this place was the most disappointing one during our visit. The place is decorated nicely with good colors and warmness but the food isn’t up to mark. I mean I was tired to pointing out stuff at the restaurant just to add a bad review but I had to decide on observing and reviewing after all.
Kids ordered Chicken burgers - the buns were stale, not fresh, were breaking off and tasted not fresh from oven like they should on a SAME day baked DAY!
The sides should come with the food in the same HUGE plates they have but the PLATES came empty with one 1/4 leg Off Bone Chicken and sides were to be waited for. I would say this as bad service not a creative dishing.
I ordered bottled water - it came with a glads apparently clean but when I poured water and drank, the inner glass smelled GUTTER - ThankGod for STRAWS in the drinks for the kids 🤦♀️... I drank straight from the bottle. Couldn’t even try another glass.
A restaurant should NOT jump into Mediterranean if they haven’t eaten authentic and cooked authentic. No hummus for pita, the chefs couldn’t fill a freakin’ pita correctly with chicken without tearing it up!
Since Chicago’s one restaurant 5-6 years ago, this is the most negative review I have written about an eating place. And I have travelled a lots. I donno what the heck owners are doing when people are coming to eat at their restaurant that they have no QA before service! I am sorry but hopefully it...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant, and it was a delightful experience overall. The ambiance is warm and inviting, striking a nice balance between casual and elegant. Whether you're there for a quick meal or a longer dining experience, the atmosphere makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.
The food lived up to expectations, with a taste that was consistently good across the dishes we tried. One of the highlights for me was their sauces – they are absolutely amazing and elevate the flavors of the dishes to another level. Whether you're dipping into the peri peri bites or pairing them with the main course, the sauces are a standout feature that you shouldn’t miss.
Speaking of dishes, the peri peri bites are a must-try. They are crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, making them a great starter. For the main course, I recommend the chicken with two sides. The chicken was tender, well-cooked, and paired beautifully with the fresh, flavorful sides that add variety to the meal.
The prices are decent, offering good value for money without compromising on quality. The service was also commendable – the staff was polite, attentive, and ensured everything was served promptly.
Overall, this restaurant is a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy good food, great sauces, and a pleasant ambiance. Highly...
