Hello all. Visited the newly opened place The Fig Tree after it's soft launch. Starters: Bruschetta: freshly baked bread which was topped with nicely seasoned chopped tomatoes and feta cheese. Amazing taste!!! The summer salad was light and perfect with it's amazing dressing and topped with caramelized peaches and walnuts. The mains: Fettuccine pasta: the pasta was one of my fav things of the night. The white sauce had a rich flavour and fully complimented the fettuccine. Classic beef burger: I shared half of a burger with someone and I was pleasantly surprised by it's taste. The beef patty was done just right and was rich in flavour. Reminded me of the all American diner type burgers. Dessert: Bread pudding: this restaurant's take on the bread pudding absolutely worked. The toasted oatmeal was an excellent idea. Chocolate mousse: this was one of my fav things of the evening. The Belgian chocolate ,the cream, the blueberries... It was a really rich dessert but still keeps you wanting more. The owner was there herself to enhance our dining experience. The music was light and in the background. Next time I'll go to try out their sandwiches. Mall 1 is a nightmare for Parking and with limited seating capacity I would suggest to pre-book before showing up with...
Read moreToday, we visited this amazing place located at Main Boulevard Gulberg. The fancy name defines the ambience of the place. It was well decorated with unique 🌻 roof design. Moreover, they had a variety to offer. We ordered classic beef burger, fried prawns, and korean fried chicken. The double pattle beef burger was just right to hit the taste buds, giving you an amazing old-school feeling. It was served with fries and coleslaw salad. The meat was perfectly cooked with a precise amount of sauces. The food quantity did the justice to the price. Highly recommended. The Korean fried chicken was served with two special sauces, having a unique taste of chilli and honey, which went perfectly with fried chicken. The chicken was gold covered with some yummy sauce. Also, it was served with fries. A little more quantity can justify the price. The fried prawns were presented as starter. They were large in size coated with crisp layers, dipped in some special sauce (tater sauce). It tasted so perfect!
Overall, it's a good place for quick family and friends to meet up. The prices are at the higher side, but the taste was 👌. I dont know why this place is so underrated. 8.5/10. P.s they are about to relocate this branch to...
Read moreThe worst experience i ever had. What kind of a restaurant does not add seasonings? Simple and basic seasonings like salt?? I ordered lasagna which was such a basic dish and they messed up sooo bad. The owner/manager there was super rude when i complained about the food. She gaslighted me saying ‘whats the problem? this dish does not contain any seasonings dont you know that?’ with the most taunting tone. They made the most basic sauce to cover it up which tasted horrible. And even after that i asked for salt to which she said ‘aap namak mirchein taiz khaati hain? Omg’ with extreme judgement. That woman screamed across the entire restaurant for every customer to hear to give me a complimentary slice of cake to compensate her horrible food adding ‘meetha khaa lein awein iss mein bhi aapko masla na ho’. That woman had no sense how to talk to her customers. She basically said if the food does not taste good it means its the customer’s fault since she is a professional chef (who apparently does not know salt exists). I got so nauseous after having the meal and couldnt even finish it....
