Ciao Bella Amador — Restaurant in Ancón

The restaurant looked great and had AC which is what we were looking for, but everything else left a lot to be desired and we left very disappointed. My table of 4 had to ask for bread 5 times before getting bread. We ordered and then 2 other tables sat down quite a bit after us and got their food a lot faster than us. It took 1hr for us to even get our 1 appetizer. Then it took another while before actually getting our food. We all ordered different things, steak, corvina (fish), lasagna, and salmon risotto. We were so surprised that all of our meals lacked all flavor. The salmon and steak looked fresh out of the freezer, and my corvina had several bones and had sauce on top, but had absolutely no flavor. Its one thing if there is just 1 bad meal, or the chef forgot to season 1 meal, but all of them were very underwhelming flavor wise. My friend that had the salmon risotto didn’t even eat past 1 or 2 bites. He was asked about why he didn’t eat and mentioned that he didn’t like it because there was no flavor and it didn’t taste fresh. Our server gave the feedback to the chef and came back to tell us that “that is how it comes”. Our server then brought our table out a tiramisu on the house, but even that was not good. They still ended up charging for the salmon risotto. The icing on the cake was that the women’s bathroom had no toilet paper and no paper towels. Lovely restaurant on Amador Causeway you can dine by the water, on the patio or inside. The causeway has many restaurants to choose from, we like this area of the Causeway because there’s plenty of free parking. The food, service, and atmosphere was excellent. The pizza is the best I’ve had...
