Such a disappointment... We visited Sirena on our first trip to Panamá in 2017 and now that we've moved here and gotten our PR, we wanted to visit the place that started us down this path. We had such fond memories of great cocktails, yummy food and darn good service - only to be bitterly disappointed by the 2021 version of Sirena. The "long island ice tea", which we were warned was quite strong, was now nothing but ice, soda, a splash of vodka and some pink mystery juice- totally tasteless and kick-less, the four fish sticks the size of my pinky cost $10 (might as well have been Gorton's brand for those from the US), the patacones were almost chilled and the shrimp mixture inside seemed based in mere ketchup. Oh, and we were constantly terrorized by bees. Like, SERIOUS bee issues! The service was remarkably lackluster, even by Panamá standards. Nostalgia is the only reason this is not a one...

The third time they brought a little more, and that was enough. I ordered the pineapple juice because my wife's looked so good. Just as I ordered it she said "It's unsweetened." Sure enough, it was rather disagreeable. I asked the waiter to bring sugar, and he brought a little container with sugar packets. I used about ⅔ of them, my wife the other third. I don't think they're used to gringos. The food was as expensive as I might expect in the United States, but a little pricey for Panama. So overall? Good, but I...

However, the drinks here were good. Our chocolate Frappuccino was delicious. The mimosas and bloody marys were what you’d expect.
I wouldn’t order the ceviche. It’s just shrimp sitting in a mayonnaise-based cocktail sauce. Made us feel a bit sick.
I ordered the buffalo wings, and they were good, but there were only 4; I would have expected more like 6, with more vegetables as well.
If you miss brunch on Sundays, there isn’t much reason to visit,...
