The food was nasty. Everything tasted like it came out of a instant meal box & super salty as if the cook spilled the salt over the meals. Will not recommend nor come back here again. Overpriced for being zero authentic & getting boxed premade meals!

Your apology is not sincere but rather arrogant!. In addition, your lies about eating all the food is uncalled for. You came to our table to argue rather than to find a resolution to our concerns. We did paid for what we consume therefore we were entitled to take home what we paid for even though the food was disgusting at least we could feed it to the street dogs. Furthermore, the pineapple on my drink was rotten and made you aware of it. I never said the drink was bad, which was about the only some what descent item we had out of everything else. I do review places that deserve a zero star, as that is the purpose for google reviews to let the general public know where not to waste their money and time. We were not rude but rather gave you feedback, if you & your staff cant handle constructive criticism and get your feelings hurt to easily, than you should not be in this type of industry. Again, your food was not good but rather disgusting & we wasted our money today eating at this restaurant.

This restaurant was the highlight of our visit to Panama. Yes, you heard me and we did some amazing things like hiking in the national forest, a city tour and relaxing on the beach. The resort food was bland and thats was the consensus among the guests we talked too. Even Eric, our excursion driver, said, “a lot of people who stay at Dreams Playa Bonita say that about the food.” Eric hooked us up and took us to Bucaneros! My husband and I shared a whole fried snapper, Greek style octopus, calamari, and I had a slice of Eric’s vegetarian pizza, ALL AMAZING! The food was so good that we went back for dinner the next night! Andres was our lunch server and he was fantastic, not mention he was a real pirate (well, he looked like one 😇). He basically made the recommendations for us the first day and none of it disappointed. Chris, the chef, and his team were also amazing. He came out and created us. Asked if everything was prepared properly. He even made us a special soup the next night when we returned for dinner. The portions were huge and the price was reasonable, well worth it. We discussed how it would have cost us triple for a similar dinner at home. The location is as amazing. It’s in the marina, outdoors with covered seating and the breeze off the water was perfect. We actually ate here twice during our trip because the first time was so amazing that we kept craving it for the next four days. We ended up going back on our last day.

The first time, we ordered the bandeja de mariscos — it was absolutely delicious. The second time, we went for the especial bucaneeros. That was our mistake. We thought it would be the same platter as before, just with an extra lobster, but it turned out to be prepared differently. It wasn’t bad, just not as good as the first one. Next time, we’d definitely order the original platter again and just add a lobster on the side — the perfect combo.

We also mentioned to Andres that we preferred the grilled pulpo from our first visit, and he immediately arranged for the chef to grill it for us. That kind of service really stood out and made a big difference in our experience.

The passion fruit caipirinha was also really good — super refreshing and tasty. And the service from Andres was top, top, top.

We will definitely come back when we visit...
