On my recent trip to Panama City I visited Adama, the newest Kosher restaurant to join the Panama City kosher scene. Adama has a variety of delicious fresh options to enjoy in their massive dining room inclusive of over 150+ seats, two VIP dining rooms and an outdoor patio.
As you’re seated by the friendly staff and attempt to read the menu you can’t help but notice the Adama experience that you’re about to have. From their fully stocked bar with signature cocktails to the coal fired pizza oven you won’t have any trouble finding exciting accompaniments to your meal. Adama’s menu provides all patrons a plethora of meat, fish, sushi and vegetable options guaranteed to give a unique experience.
Our trip through the menu began with a variety of their apps including Ribeye Carpaccio, Short Rib “Carimanolas”, Collipops, Brisket Bites and Tuna Crispy Rice. Let’s just the Adama chefs are extremely talented and know how to start a meal. All our apps were beyond flavorful, composed to perfection and plated masterpieces. To accompany our meal we ordered the Gin Yang and Chan Chan from their cocktails and Ginger Apple mocktail. The ingredients were so fresh and packed with flavor cleansing our pallet for the main.
For our main my wife and I shared their 14 oz Boneless Ribeye Steak with Patacones. Let’s just say, there’s no better way to finish a vacation than a perfectly seasoned steak cooked medium rare (personal preference). To finish this epic meal, we ordered the warm pecan pie with vanilla ice cream. While many restaurants may have pecan pie on the menu, Adama found a way to keep the sweetness level down and end our meal with a mmmmmmm.
Now no meal is complete without the supporting staff that keeps the dining room buzzing and the customers happy. The waiters and supporting staff were extremely welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. The service was just impeccable and executed very well. To top it off the manager was seen conversing with many of patrons and even made her way to our table.
All-in-all I’d say Adama is a must go when visiting the beautiful...
Read moreThe decor is gorgeous. We made a reservation and got seated right away. Everything we ordered was delicious. For appetizers, we had the brisket bites, adama sliders, colli pops, chicken fingers, and carmenolas? (Sp?) For mains, we ordered all the steaks: rib eye, rib eye strips, pepper crusted filet, and the cowboy for 2. We got into a discussion with the management and owners to make sure they cooked them right. We wanted American medium rare, which in Panama is rare. They came out as we asked and they were all fantastic! The rib eye strips were like skirt steak, rib eye well marbled, cowboy solid rib steak, pepper crusted filet full of flavor. The owner asked why we didn't get the carpaccio since we love rare meat and my wife said we didn't like it when we ordered it at another restaurant and the owner insisted we try his. My wife gushed over it. Dried capers, beautiful presentation. Btw, house bread was fresh baked from their oven and delicious. Overall, we are at 5 different restaurants and this was hands down the best. Would go again if we were staying longer and definitely recommend to anyone looking for an awesome steak experience. (We didn't try any of their flat breads, sushi, or...
