This was my first AC Hotel brand and this was a 'never again' for me. Now I know why I couldn't find any real information about what the rooms had in them. Who designs a bathroom with a see-through glass door??!!! I had to ask my guests to leave the room every time I had to go to the bathroom and vice versa. This is not European concept at all. I lived in Europe for many years. The room has no closet just an open storage cubby with compartments that is glass and see through so everyone can see your items. The shower and toilet are literally visible from the main door area--where what should be a solid door and a wall. There's only one dresser with two drawers in the entire room. There is no where to hang the robe they give you because there are no doors or closets. The hangers in the glass cubby had my visible clothes on it. The fridge is super small. The coffee maker is super small and only has small pods and small paper cups you'd normally use for mouthwash. There's no where to get hot water for tea or coffee. There is no room service either. No bathroom cabinets . All of my personal toiletries out on display. I couldnt figure out how to turn the freggin AC up because it was freezing on 20 celsius the 1st night and there are no instructions on how. So I turned it off. Only to hear the chairs scraping the floor above me. There's zero insulation between the floors. The next morning, I called the front desk about the freezing temperatures, and she told me there is a compartment on the side that flips open to adjust it. So that was a relief. There is nowhere to store luggage or put anything out of sight. There wasnt even a pen or a bible in the room. There was a Book for Mormons. There is no alarm clock. The phone doesnt even look like a phone. It looks like a remote control. There are no instructions on how to use it. The lighting was dim and terrible. I couldnt find any book about the services provided at the hotel like room service, nor anything about the area. I just happened to change the channel to the only English channel that isnt the news and saw the the directory option on the TV. Which is also where the wakeup alarm is and instructions on how to use the phone. The trash bins have no liners and are super small. you can't fit a to go box of food in it at all. And no microwave of course. They don't even offer at least 3 movie channels in English, but they have multiple US channels dubbed in Spanish. Other hotels in the area have at least offered English movie channels. I had to get on youtube and netflix on my phone in order to watch movies.

Yes, the area is ideal if you need to be in this area but this was ridiculous. Im really glad I got it at a reduced price. So reduced, I couldnt afford to leave after day 1 and switch hotels.

The hotel is very upscale designed and beautiful. The service by the staff is great. But thats Panama in general--excellent service. This was my first and...

This is by far one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a while. This was also my first time staying at an AC Hotel. One word....perfection! I don't think this hotel is more than two years old because the last time I was in Panama City I don't remember it.

The warm, contemporary design and earth color decor are soothing through out. It feels like a modern, hip hotel. I enjoyed the art work around the lobby. The room was designed in a minimalist way. There's not a lot of cluttered paperwork or magazines around the room; bed, phone, pen, writing pad. That's it! Obviously, you have in-room amenities like a refrigerator and coffee machine and plenty of closet and storage space. I appreciate the empty refrigerator. Great for those like me who like to run to the supermarket and buy things. The room was larger than I expected. The ceilings were high with floor to ceiling windows. The views of the skyline are great. The bathroom was of average size. Glass separates the bathroom from the room. You can see out but no one can see in! Once again, an uncluttered bathroom. You're supplied with your standard amenities (towels, soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion). I found the rain shower head heavenly.

They offer free fruit, hot coffee, iced coffee and tea daily until 5:30pm. This is located off the lobby area at the bar/business center/living area. The business center has Mac desktops and the wifi throughout the hotel was fast. I had an opportunity to workout a few times in the fitness center. It's located on the top floor, just off the pool area. The gym is small but has the basics to keep fit. Cardiovascular machines, free weights, and an all-around body strength machine. There's also fruit, newspapers, towels, and stretch mats. The view from the pool/fitness center is spectacular. They have music playing at the pool day and night. If I had to make one recommendation to the hotel, turn the music off. There's some of us who like the peace and quiet of a pool deck. Everyone has music on their phones or they stream it.

Location wise, your a 10 minute walk to the ocean and within minutes are cafes, restaurants and Rey Supermarket. The nearest Metro station is about 5 minutes away. I would also like to say the staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. I'll definitely stay here again when I...

Stay at the hotel for 6nights 7days in this stay the service the first day we arrive was great we then decided that instead of goin out to eat we would end in on nights worst mistake everrr the nxt two nights we had was horrible we then decided nope let’s go out and eat instead of spending our money here the waiter seems not interesting in nothing we was telling him from taking our order to getting us our drinks to getting our bill nothing he got correct and from there it went down hill….. staff attitude was horrible in the evening part , for breakfast the two ladies tht work was pleasant…. In my stay there two bags I bought was taken from the room with other things them thought was garbage went down stair to front desk to find out where them take the garbage cause them took up my bags the guy that was there seems lost, he then went to the supervisor told her she then went back where the garbage does go send back pictures with two garbage bags that was taken out the room but not the third one that contained the bags I bought … in all this I got the run around until the supervisor then tell me I have to wait until the general manager comes in the next day…. I waited until the next day went down stairs to talk to the manger whom name is Andres Rodriguez we talk I give him the receipt of the cost of my bags he then told me ge would do an investigation and get bck to me by 3 o’clock the same day I waited and waited till 4 still nothing I then went back to find out what’s goin on front guest give me a form to filled out what happened that I did , Andres then came down stair tell me I would be refunded my money r they can give me a gift card to go back to the store I then told him I can’t get no gift card as I’m leaving early the next morning he them told me give him my bank information that I did he seems polite and acted as if he was goin to help he also give me his email I msg him a day after he said the money was goin to be on which it never get put on I’ve email him after he told me they have an issue with bank he them told me he’s working on it …. Beautiful lobby and modern dining area, bar and rooms. The registration staff were very pleasant and helpful as were the dining/bar staff. Very easy check-in. The rooms felt comfortable and roomy and were clean. Our request for a feather free room was not met but housekeeping quickly took care of our request. The bed was firm but comfortable. Our 6th floor view was not good, looking out toward several old apartment buildings. But the view from the inviting infinity pool was amazing! Upon returning to our room at 6 pm the second day, our room had not been cleaned. Around 8 pm after 2 calls to the front desk, housekeeping came to clean the room. As late as it was, we just asked for towels and replacement of bottled water. Shortly after that, we were pleasantly surprised when the manager called, apologized and sent some macarons for our inconvenience. Housekeeping was inconsistent in replacing the coffee supplies and bottled water during our 5 day stay. Upon departure, our bill was wrong, charging us for a daily breakfast and beverages that were supposed to be included in the Sip Back & Relax package. The manager made the changes, I signed and closed the bill. 30 minutes after our departure I noticed a $43.48 charge to our credit card. When we got home, we got an email with an attached invoice but when the document was opened there was no detail about charges. We called the hotel and were told a new document would be sent and unauthorized charges removed. We are still waiting and will call again in the morning. All in all, the hotel was beautiful, the staff friendly and buffet food good. But because of the housekeeping and questionable billing, we would not stay here again. Please note if you stay here, there is a tour guide named Miguel Espino that will greet you daily to offer his help with travel/tours. Don't use him. We agreed on travel to the airport the night before. When he had not shown up, we called him and it sounded like he just woke up. Luckily we got to the airport on time using an Uber. Update: The management has been in contact and took care of the questionable billing!

Amazing hotel, I spent three nights here and did not want to leave as I loved it so much. The room was huge with possibly the comfiest bed I have ever slept on. The room had floor to ceiling windows which had amazing views of the city. There was Aircon and hearing, mini toiletries and towels which were all stocked daily. Mini bar and room service available. WiFi excellent. The breakfast was a buffet and had a lot of great choice. The staff downstairs who check you in are really friendly. There is a gym and spa downstairs and a swimming pool on the roof. From here you can see the most amazing views of the city. I recommend going up there to watch the sun set. At the top there is also the restaurant and cocktail bar where breakfast, other meals and drinks served. Again with the fantastic views.

I loved this hotel, beautiful bedroom, good price, nice food but the menu doesn't have many things to choose so we ended up ordering food thru Apetito24 and Glovo because my husband and I enjoy a variety of meals. Price was great and they also offer breakfast buffet included in some room price options, you have to ask for it or select it in Travelocity. They offer menu breakfast and buffet breakfast in case you didn't include it in your room option. The room was big, a nice view, the bed was comfortable, it has a tv and cable. The bathroom was big, they provide you with little soap, shampoo and etc. Also had a mini-fridge (things inside are not free so please be aware). Customer Service was nice and helpful. I will visit Eurostars again.
