⸻ Maharaja Indian Cuisine - Panama City, Panama I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maharaja Indian Cuisine in Panama City, and it was a delightful experience! The restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. Food: The menu features a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes. We started with the Samosa Chat and Fish Fingers, both of which were delicious and full of flavor. For the main course, we tried the Tandoori Chicken, Madras Chicken, Maharaja Lamb, and Saagwala Paneer. Each dish was uniquely spiced and cooked to perfection. The Zefrani rice was a perfect accompaniment, and the Pistachio Kulfi for dessert was a refreshing end to the meal. Service: The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The owner, Mr. Paramjit, was particularly gracious and made us feel very welcome. Ambiance: The restaurant is well-maintained and clean, with a cozy and comfortable setting. Although the exterior might not look very impressive, the interior more than makes up for it with its charm and ambiance. Overall: Maharaja Indian Cuisine is a fantastic addition to the international restaurant scene in Panama City. Whether you're a fan of Indian food or looking to try something new, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Highly...
Read moreThis Indian restaurant makes their food comparable to the ones in New York City. I was happy with my experience.
What excites me the most is their use of actual basmati rice. The chicken biryani would not be complete without it. And it was very good. Another good thing is the vegetable samosa. Like the chicken biryani, it was comparable to what I have had in New York City. Also, there was the maharaja dosa. The outer wrap was perfectly thin and crispy. The vegetable filling was worth it. We finished with the kheer rice pudding dessert which others found too sweet but I enjoyed it.
The spacious interior is brightly lit with tons of tables. Televisions showing South Asian programming. Decent parking lot. Overall, service was okay but I had to walk to the bar two times to ask for things because the employees were too busy chatting with the boss that they never noticed me raising my hand.
The only thing they could improve is their garlic naan. The bread was good but they need to add more oil and garlic. My first time eating Indian food in Panama and I must say that I am pleased. I know there are other such places with high rankings but this restaurant gets credit for being...
Read moreI was absolutely blown away by my recent visit to this Indian restaurant! The atmosphere was incredibly cozy and authentic, instantly immersing you in Indian culture. The menu was diverse and tempting, and I couldn’t resist trying all the most interesting dishes.
And I was pleasantly surprised! All the dishes were prepared with love and skill, using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. I tried the Palak Paneer, Fish Curry, lamb ribs, lamb kebabs, Samosas, and garlic naan - everything was incredibly delicious!
The Palak Paneer was especially good - tender, aromatic, and juicy. The Fish Curry impressed me with its spiciness and richness of flavor. And the lamb ribs just melted in your mouth! The Samosas and garlic naan were great additions to the meal, providing a delicate crunch and a bright aroma.
I will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu! Thank you so much for an...
