I was supposed to have one casual drink here, but ended up coming two nights in a row and having many more because the drinks were so good.

The food from here was good, nothing to write home about, but the cocktails crafted by Abraham were truly one of a kind in the best way possible.

There is no menu at Element. You will be asked about your preferences, likes and dislikes, and a cocktail will appear in front of you in due time. They have a huge variety of liquors, and even specialty homemade varieties. The Indian chili spicey tequila might have been the most flavourful tequilas I have ever tried in my life, with a very hefty helping of heat.

When it is busy, drinks can take a while because of the personalisation. But if you have the good fortune to come in on a quiet night, Abraham will guide you through the most amazing flight of cocktails. Some of my favourites include: Mezcal mango, spicy tequila pineapple, grasshopper. Basically if you give Abraham a theme, he will inject his magic and creativity into it and make you a delicious tasting cocktail.

What was special to me was to be able to riff with Abraham, to even bring him some ingredients and ideas I wanted to experiment with. For example, he made me a few pandan cocktails with some pandan extract I bought him.

Overall, there was a good atmosphere in the bar. The music could get quite loud at times, but they are happy to adjust.
