For what is usual in Panama I was very satisfied with both attention and price.
Came in here to eat breakfast around 930 AM, I was happy to see the place fully staffed having someone recieve us and take our order immediately.
One could tell the place was decently equipped towards servicing tourists, as it had an English speaking staff, as well as seein the cold hard evidence of several foreigners sitting, as well as having the Menus in English.
I'll make the brief but concise mention of me personally disliking the Coffee, it wasn't so much that it was bad, but rather that it wasn't particularly impressive. I don't know if it was the grain, or the way it was turned into an espresso, but I was a bit dissapointed, so if coming just for coffee go elsewhere.
I can however say that I very much enjoyed my breakfast, I ended up getting, instead of a bagel (or was it english muffin), a sandwich, so do take note, you can get regular bread for all options that call for a muffin.
The sandwich was delicious having a fried egg, bacon and some sort of creamy dutch cheese, enough to fill me for breakfast, and I don't think I paid more than $5 for it.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend for people to come here for breakfast, as its both delicious and cheap, compared to most Casco Options, as well as having AC, so you'll feel like you're...
Read moreI highly recommend this place to both those who live in Panamá and tourists.
The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. All the ladies working there were extremely friendly and attentive. As a foreigner who don’t speak good Spanish, I often feel a bit intimidated by the cold staff in cafes or restaurants in Panama. However, the ladies here are incredibly kind and welcoming.
During my first visit, I enjoyed their lunch menu with fresh juice. Later, I indulged in pies with coffee. The homemade chocolate pie here is out of this world.
I couldn’t stop thinking about the taste, so I went back to have it again. The chocolate pie has a homemade feel(of course), with a nutty flavor reminiscent of Ferrero Rocher to my taste - simply delightful!
Sitting by the window while enjoying the dessert, even though I live in Panamá, it makes me feel like I am on vacation.

Read moreFresh Baked Empanadas, homemade soup, aromas so yummy you want to lick the air. This is no joke…they were INCREDIBLE! Honestly, I went in here on a food tour and had some amazing chocolate…then I saw that they sell Coconut Milk in the 1 Litre Tetra packs and I have been looking everywhere for Coconut Milk (I don’t like Almond Milk). So the next day I went back to get some groceries and when I walked in the door the wave of fresh baked empanadas floating in the air was exactly what heaven should smell like so naturally I bought 3: A chicken, a spinach & mushroom and a pineapple. I also took home some split pea soup. The first thing I thought was… oh my gosh if my mother tried this soup she would BEG for the recipe.
Holy man alive! Do not miss out on this place if you are in...
