Coffee Max — Restaurant in San Francisco

He sido cliente de Coffee Max por más de 7 años, desde la sucursal de Bella Vista. Siempre he tenido una buena experiencia con la comida, sin embargo lamentablemente la atención en esta sucursal de Paitilla deja mucho que decir... En esta oportunidad hablaré únicamente de la última experiencia:

Comenzando el pedido, la mesera no conocía el menú y no pudo explicarnos qué tenía el jugo "Rico Max" que era una mezcla de frutas, a lo que ordenamos dos jugos regulares (estaban deliciosos). Luego, ordené lo que siempre ordeno, un emparedado de schnitzel SIN lechuga (es en pan baguette, con tomate aguacate, sin lechuga en mi caso y la salsa rosa), mi amiga ordena una ración de Kibbe (que tuvo que explicarle porque no entendía qué era), y vuelve a hacer contacto visual conmigo para reconfirmar que mi emparedado es SIN lechuga.

Pasa el rato, viene la comida y me traen un Schnitzel al plato con papas fritas, a lo que le digo a la mesera que eso no fue lo que ordené y me dice "si, esto fue lo que pidió, un Schnitzel" y le dije "No, era emparedado... sin lechuga, recuerdas?" a lo que cae en cuenta de que se equivocó y amablemente regresa el plato. Pasa nuevamente un rato y me trae una hamburguesa y la miro y le digo "esto no fue lo que ordené" y me dice nuevamente que si y le pregunto si cambiaron el menú, me dice que no que esa es la HAMBURGUESA que pedí y le digo "Nunca mencioné hamburguesa, pedí el emparedado que viene en pan baguette".

Cabe acotar que entre el pedido inicial y la entrega del SEGUNDO PLATO EQUIVOCADO, habrían pasado unos 45min y eran pasadas las 10pm, por lo que le dije "te la voy a aceptar porque es bastante tarde, tengo hambre y ya se equivocaron dos veces". A todas esta NUNCA volvió a la mesa, no trajeron servilletas, no nos atendió más.

Al pedirle a su compañero un poco de salsa rosa (tomando en cuenta que la hamburguesa que NO ordené tiene otros ingredientes y quería al menos algo de similitud), entra al restaurante que por cierto estaba completamente vacío adentro, hablan nos miran vuelven a hablar y trae la salsa. Le pedimos la cuenta y veo que facturaron un "Scnitzel" al plato. Aquí se comienza a poner un poco grosero cuando le decimos que no fue lo que pedí, me refuta y me dice "que eso fue lo que yo pedí, que yo le ordene una hamburguesa a su compañera", le explico que lamentablemente NO, que yo ordene un emparedado que es otro pan, y otro relleno y me dice muy groseramente que entonces "PARA QUE ME LO COMI", le explico que se equivocaron DOS veces con el pedido, que eran pasadas las 10 de la noche y que a parte de que tenía hambre me tenía que ir. Dice que va a hablar con la encargada y se fue.

Regresa y me pone una tablet con el menú EN LA MESA, a mi parecer de forma grosera, para que le busque lo que pedí.... le digo que NO me voy a enganchar a pelear con él, que lean su menú porque YO ordené: UN EMPAREDADO DE SCHNITZEL, EL CUAL TIENE TOMATE, AGUACATE, LECHUGA, SALSA ROSADA EN UN PAN BAGUETTE. La encargada SIN ACERCARSE, tratar de mediar o siquiera disculparse por el mal entendido, retira la tablet de la mesa y le da la cuenta corregida.

Que conste, la diferencia entre los platos es realmente baja, es de $2, sin embargo desde que la mesera claramente NO conocía el menú y la actitud grosera del mesero, lamentablemente no me parecía justo que me cobraran lo que ellos decidieron cuando no pude ni escoger lo que comí.

Una real pena, como dije he sido fiel cliente de Coffee Max, pero esto fue desde un terrible servicio hasta una falta de respeto...

This used to be my favorite restaurant in all of Panama. But about two months ago they changed their menu drastically. They removed about half the former items. They also changed some recipes of seafood dishes, for the worst, in my opinion. For seven years I've been going to CoffeeMax and now I will not return. I am very sad to lose a great restaurant. Their coffee is still the best in Panama! But the food and service is not as good as it used to be.
