Texas de Brazil — Restaurant in San Francisco

Food is awesome, I am a fan and customer who has visited over 5 of their restaurants including the one in NY and in Chicago, I moved back to Panama and I have been in this restaurant at least 6 times, but a couple of weeks ago I had the worst experience ever, in Google, DeGusta and in their own website it says the close at 10PM, I drive from the Tocumen Airport directly to the restaurant in Pacific Center (20-25 minutes drive in highway) and when I come in, the lady in the lobby/reception area states they are closed, it is 9:25PM, so I asked her, if they don’t close at 10PM anymore (besides the restaurant was obviously open, because I opened the door and entered), and she says: “the kitchen is already closed” and I see the guys serving meat as it happens in a rodizio where I know there is plenty of meat, food, the salad bar is still open, so it is confusing for me and my wise to understand what is going on. so I nicely ask her if I can talk to a supervisor to understand why this is happening and why did the schedule change and apparently this reception lady is now kind of more willing to let us in, however she tell us this with notorious bad attitude “you can pay this, but it is a large amount of money for 30 minutes and you don’t want to spend your money on just 30 minutes and they will take away the salad bar 15 minutes before 10pm”. This is just unacceptable, measuring how much money I should spend or not in a restaurant, not sure how can She assume or infer all these things, so wrong in many levels. This is not customer service, this is not willing to work, this is just a real horrible experience. I still hasn’t come back to the restaurant again, I don’t really feel like I should, however food is really good, and even though after this episode I visited my family in NY and we went to the branch in Yonkers, NY :) PS: We ate that day in 27 minutes, dessert included, we destroyed those Brazilian dishes! we...

How can you go bad in an expensive restaurant located in an expensive neighborhood. To start, attitude from the hostess. She stops you at the door and before you even get a chance to take your temprature she insists on asking if you have reservations...no welcome no how are you no smile with the eyes. Then you proceed to say yes and they fumble to find the reservation. This is 6 pm and restaurant is completely empty. We get seatedand the restaurant feels like Alaska in the height of winter.

Ok. Lets get to the food. No menu for non-meat eaters. Why would you go to a meat restaurant if you are non meat eater. In Brazil they offer you a salad bar or a menu without the rodizio. All they have is a kids menu. The passion fruit caipirinha tasted like traditional. Barely any hint of maracuja.

The meats were good but limited in variety. The sausage was excellent. The shrimp salad was extraordinary. The worst for me was the feijoada. How can you go wrong with feijoada. It tasted like it came from a can of pork and beans reheated..desserts were ok. Bottom line not worth 50 per person. I say skip this and wait till you go to Rio for Rodizio or...

Excellent salad bar. Poor meat selection it looks like they offer you first chicken so that you get full then they start bringing the meat (which is poor) Poor service ..too bad for waiters and hosts, they need more training in customer service. 4.I feel very sad for the kitchen staff because they do a great job. (The food is delicious), but the service outside the kitchen is the worse I have had in a rodizzio restaurant. Do not go on your birthday they won’t even sing for you. They would politely say no. It is a mess since the have a birthday promo. In Panama this is the most expensive rodizzio. Be prepared to pay. I gently recommend Os segredos da Carne for birthday they are way more friendly, they offer more meats and their salad bar is great. (They can sing a simple birthday song) For a regular dinner I recommend Brazzeiro it’s a lot cheaper, quality food and better service. Inconclusion great salad bar, great instalations, poor customer service, pricy.
