Went to Pasha at the Fremont location yesterday evening with 2 of my friends. We ordered a hookah with a watermelon head and 3 hookah flavors, the hookah they gave us was stingy with the tobacco, tasted awful and burned after a few puffs. When talked to the guy who worked there about our issues with the hookah, he said “I can just give you a free refill on the regular hookah head.” We paid $50 total for the watermelon head, and the “refill” that was offered is about $10. So it didn’t make sense that this was option offered for the terrible hookah that they had already charged us for. I asked for a refund as we were not going to stay to smoke shit hookah. The man tried to tell me that they couldn’t do that because they had separated from the restaurant, which was irrelevant as our issue was with them and their shitty hookah. After insisting that they refund us, he finally did. Also, my friend had to show them to use their POS system that they use to charge customers for their orders. So they clearly don’t know what they are doing.
The food was terrible, we ordered the lamb shish kabob plate, which consisted of 6 tiny burnt pieces of lamb, overcooked rice that honestly tasted like store bought microwave rice. The Manti my friend ordered was also terrible, it was very watery and soupy and very little meat in the dumplings. It was mediocre at best.
As a Middle Easterner who loves the food from our region, this place was an absolute shame and utter disappointment. There are so many other great hookah spots in the Bay Area, there’s no need to waste your time at this joke of an establishment. If I could give it zero stars, I would....
Read moreThe aesthetic of this place is nice. The staff tries to ensure that the guests are taken care of consistently. The music is okay and definitely culturally centric. There aren't many drink options nor food options. I believe that any hookah place that offers more drink options and food options allow newcomers to hookah to kind of adjust a little better to their initial experience. The flavor menu for hookah choices is somewhat limited but still offers up a rather unique experience. I didn't like their signature hookah which shares it's name with the business but fortunately the staff member that tended my table was willing to give me another flavor. This flavor was better but still was not that great. Over all, the appearance in this place is very nice and very clean. I'm sure the flavors appeal to a certain palate and for that I can not be too hard on the flavors as there were many around me enjoying themselves. Would I recommend this, absolutely... Yes there are better places with a more lively feel and better flavors. But this place is in Fremont, CA and has a higher rating of safety than most other places in the bay area. So you can enjoy a nice quiet, safe place to relax and enjoy the nicotine buzz from the hookah smoke. Smoke...
Read moreCame on Wednesday afternoon around 5:30 pm . It was quiet , I ordered with waiter by the bar , and give her specific order: French fries no seasoning except salt . Manti : give me separate soup /yogurt /manti . Cuz I wanna deep in myself . I don’t believe waiter have an understanding problem at all . But she is just lazy . BOTH food came wrong . First, fries came full seasoned . Second : manti came all together mixed. I had to send one by one . And waiter named Sura came with huge attitudes telling me you came here for trouble. Finger was literally loaded on the table . Telling me that’s how we eat Manti . It wasn’t pleasant experience at all at this place . Also music is so loud. Can’t call the waiter nicely . You have to yell loud to get an attention. Waiter didn’t give me anything besides order . I had to ask one by one napkin even fork . When I asked fork she said we eat Manti with spoon there it is you have a spoon on the table . Pointed the spoon for me on her way out . The way she stands front of the table is so arrogant. She needs to get fired from this place if the owner wants costumer come back again. Mood is zero now . They need to change fast food payment method. Pay first and then...
