490 Parrillas Tradición — Restaurant in Chiclayo

The food was nice. We went on a Wednesday evening and ordered Chicken wings, potatoes and salad to share (3 people). There were just a few things that should have been done to make it much better. For example, they gave lovely sauces but no spoon or any way of getting the sauces on to the plate. They seated us on a table that was much too small and it was difficult to eat with all the food and drinks on it. The chicken wings were nice but they were coated in a sticky sauce. There was no finger bowl provided to wash your fingers and they're almost impossible to eat with a knife and fork. We had to go to the bathroom every 5 minutes to wash our hands. W ordered a salad. It's obvious we're sharing but there was no serving spoon to share it with, so you end up trying to drag it on to your plate with a fork. The table was really sticky (as was the floor). It made your hands and arms sticky to touch it. The waitress was really busy and it was difficult to get her attention to get the bill. We had to wait almost 20 minutes. Hace un año le había dado una puntuación de 3 estrellas, pero ahora corrijo y le doy 5 por su excelente servicio, su correcta aplicación de los protocolos de bioseguridad y su exquisita comida.

He comido un arroz chaufa con chanchito agridulce y platanito frito, que de solo escribir y pensar en él comienzo a salivar, jajaja muy rico.

También he comido una parrillita para dos, que tenía pollito a la plancha, lomo de res, chorizo, chancho agridulce y alitas a la BBQ con unas papas fritas y aparte pedí arrocito alverjado (siempre que voy pido este arrocito porque es espectacular). Todo estuvo muy rico.

Lo único que no me gustó fue que la música del bar del tercer piso se escuchaba en el segundo y rompía con la atmósfera del restaurante.
