Anticuchos Manuela — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Well. I found this place from those guys that travel the world for a culinary experience. His name in youtube is Mark Wiens... Well let me tell you something It was good Everything was on point The variety of hot sauces were awesome. The grilled potatoes were incredible Chicha (Traditional Peruvian beverage) was excellent The Anticuchos were nice and tender and full of flavor. Why not five stars I just wish she had a bigger and hotter charcoal flame while grilling the Anticuchos to give the smoky charcoal flavor. and that's all it was missing to make it perfect. But that's just me being to picky I will return as many times is necessary to feed my hungry...

I'm not an expert in anticuchos or choclo but I absolutely loved this little cart on the sidewalk. Doña Manuela and her daughters (I assume) were so kind and friendly.

We had a lovely time with them while eating and chatting. I thought their sauces were so good and spicy. You can order a "combinado" and you get one chicken and one beef heart, it comes with potatoes. The boiled choclo was out of this world.

If I lived in the area I would definitely be there several...

I've been coming to this place ever since I was little. My grandmas house is right around the corner and as soon as I land in peru she is the first place I go to eat! Her sauces are always on point! You will not be disappointed! Best spot...
