Chifa Wong King — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

This place saves my life, I’ve never had such a good dim sum and clay pot rice, even better than the ones I had in Asia or US. They have many traditional dim sum items that have been lost in modern cities in China or HK now. The menu is insane. I’ve never seen such comprehensive menu anywhere in the world for Chinese restaurants.

They do exactly what I wanted for more crispy rice in clay rice with sausage and chicken, amazing Dan San (you cannot find this in China any more now), and egg tart. They don’t have broccoli on menu but they made for me with chili and garlics I wanted. They also have amazing spicy sauce but a bit oily.

I dined there and also did delivery after. 110/100!

They don’t offer delivery on Rappi which is the downside. I have to pay 11 s + 9 s for delivery and package fees. And the food is not cheap. I spent almost $30 for a dinner alone just for 1 rice, 1 veggie and 1 dim sum. But it’s amazing...

My family and I went to have a nice lunch at 1pm today. We were seated and placed our order within 10 minutes. We ordered six different dishes and only two out of the six came an hour after we placed the order. Two more dishes came at 3pm. The servers were apologetic, however, the owner was very dismissive and just told us “the kitchen is very slow” when we told her that we were waiting close to two hours to eat the rest of our food. No apologies whatsoever.

We decided to leave and pay for the dishes we had and then the owner rushed to come over to check what we were being charged. She was arguing with us about the bill and her staff refused to give us the customer service book to write a complaint. The food was mediocre at best and the service is terrible at this location. Do yourself a favor and go to Haka...

This place was recommended by a friend who claimed the food and service were the best. However , my experience was the opposite, we placed our order in writing because you need to mark what you want and how many of each. The food took forever to come in , and they would bring a dish at a time . In addition they brought the wrong order on a couple of plates, the waiters were nowhere to be found, even when we were asking for the check. In summary, not a great experience, and the food was average (dim sum). Hope this comment makes them improve...
