Such a disappointment… Sadly we chose this place to have our anniversary dinner and regretted in the end. Everything looks so fancy and all but there is no taste. If we were just tourists passing by with low expectations maybe we would be happy but no we dined in lots of restaurants and this was the least delicious one. I still can’t believe how it gets this rate because it can’t be just us not liking it. We had 4 plates and all of them was so regular nothing was even goood! Prices are high expectations are high but its all disappointment. Especially the meet plate (can’t remember the name) was so tasteless it physically hurt us… the bread was nice 🥲 Drinks were average, and for sure we will not be going there again after wasting our anniversary. They offered us two glasses of champagne for our anniversary which was nice but also expected. After 4 plates of disappointments we didn’t even wanna order desserts so we went to another place. Note: everything is fancy until you...
Read moreMy husband and I sat at the bar facing the kitchen, and we think this was one of the best seats to see the kitchen in action. Our server suggested the avocado tartar and the curry. Additionally, we ordered the baby corn and the braised shrimp. We thought the food was outstanding. The avocado tartar and baby corn were so original. The shrimp were actually more like large grilled langostines, something we are unable to get where we live & it was a real treat. The curry was also delicious - fish was a thick sea bass cooked perfectly. Overall, we've never had anything quite like this at home & felt it was unique and memorable.
Our server was excellent - just the right combination of friendly, competent but not overly solicitious. He pointed out specific fruits and vegetables native to Peru that were incorporated into our dishes which we thought was really...

The food was exactly the kind of culinary experience that lives up to Lima’s recent world-class reputation. Every dish felt original and thoughtful, with flavors we’ve never had at home. Highlights for me were the grilled octopus(the best!!!), the pork belly taco and the huge main dish that left us feeling very full haha 2 entrees + 1main is enough for two people imo
Cocktails were equally impressive, crafted with as much care as the dishes. The service was outstanding too: friendly, knowledgeable, and never intrusive. Our server even pointed out native Peruvian ingredients in the menu, which added so much to...
