Don Rafó — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Found this place after going to al toke pez. This place is much better than Al toke, the ceviche has a lot more flavor, there are more options, there is fresh, soft and crispy chicharrón. The leche de tigre is also nice. I suspect the sauce for ceviche is the same. The leche de tigre came with chicharrón de pota, and it was a mixed leche de tigre with fish and squid. The yuka was crispy and soft inside None of the food is very salty like many other places but they provided us with extra salt separately. The bathroom works but the door doesn't fully close and it's doubled as a storage room, no way to dry hands but at least it's funcional. Nous étions venus pour manger chez le fameux El Toke Pez juste à côté (nous attendions avec impatience !), mais lorsque nous avons vu la file d’attente nous sommes venus ici. Et c’est sans regret! Le ceviche est excellent, le poisson est bien frais et le leche de tigre vraiment succulent! On nous a demandé s’il l’on préférait piquant ou non (ce qui est appréciable !), nous avons donc opté pour la version piquante, parfaitement relevée avec un bon goût de piment! Le trio avec le riz aux fruits de mer (cuisson parfaite du riz et des fruits de mer) et les calamars frits (bonne panure, huile pas grasse) étaient également excellents. Absolutely delicious ceviche, best food we've had in Lima so far. A bit outside of the main city area but definitely worth the visit for an authentic ceviche meal! Amazing quality and prices....
