Hotel Britania Crystal Collection — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

I don't understand why the review are so high. Room are very basics. I got room 701, you arrive at the 7th floor on a dirty carpet, then the room ... white walls covered by traces, marks, stains (like someone has spited on the wall) the bathroom wall and ceiling covered by mold.

Don't forget your hear plugs... you can hear your neighbours cell phones vibrating, or snoring .... and as from early morning the kitchen from the court below your windows and the the vacuum from housekeeping ...

I got cheaper hotels in Peru with a better quality of facilities.

breakfast is basic, better go in town aroun where you have lovely places for breakfast. the cafeteria is too noisy and cold

Located a few minutes walk from Parque Kennedy, with the local cats and older folk dancing the night away, this hotel is situated in a quiet street, with a good coffee shop opposite. The room was spacious with good WiFi, decent bathroom, a fridge and a couple of water bottles were provided each day. The continental breakfast buffet had a good selection of items, with a small selection of hot food. On our last day we had to leave prior to breakfast starting and on request we were given a takeaway breakfast bag. We walked to the Larcomar shopping Mall in 20 minutes, to see the Paddington statue, see the sun set and eat some food at one of the many eateries there. The coach transfer to the airport took about 45...

Room ok and clean. Breakfast ok, buffet good. Our travel agent was told that upon our check in we'd pay an extra $35 for late checkout (our pickup was 7P) yet when we arrived the young woman refused to take my payment. Next day we arrived back from shopping to a young man SCREAMING at us to get out of our room in 10 minutes so that the Brazilian soccer champions (who cruised Lima with a police escort) could get it. Texted travel agent who texted she was trying to call right then (he refused to answer the phone.) Upon leaving he yet again screamed at us that we owed $4.50 for two beers. When we told him he should comp us for those given his behavior, he screamed yet again NO, YOU PAY! ...
