NEIRA CAFÉ LAB - Miraflores ;-) — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

My wife and I went to Café Neira in the morning of January 25th during our vacation in Lima. Despite the many online recommendations, our experience was very bad and we advise everyone to stay away from this unsanitary establishment.

The coffee and pastries -which are OK but nothing to write home about- are served on a counter where customers pick up their orders. While enjoying our breakfast, we saw another customer with two large dogs walk up to the counter to pay for his order. While he settled his bill, his dogs rested their paws ON the counter and LICKED crumbs off the counter surface. Yes, the same counter where food is served. The staff smiled on and did nothing.

Before leaving the store I spoke with the two lady clerks present at the time and told them that the practice was unsanitary. They ignored me and went on about their business making coffee. They did not even clean the food counter until I insisted and asked for the complaints book. Only then did one of them apologize and agree with me, saying that they allowed those dogs to rest their paws on the counter and lick it because "the customer is a regular".

Stay unless from this place. Unsanitary standards and rude...

I usually enjoy the specialty coffee in my home, fortunately there are many professional cafes in Korea who have coffee champions like Ms. Jooyeon Jeon at Momos coffee, I’m really happy to enjoy them.

Neira Cafe Lab - Miraflores gave me a fantastic experience with only Peruvian coffees, their coffee bean(I mean roasting skill) was wonderful, and they have clear & perfect recipes + serving process management.

Of course coffee taste was the best, and I could really enjoyed their story telling for each coffee.

We could not hesitate to buy coffee bean, it was huge mistake I only bought 1 kind of coffee, I must visit here again to be happy with their coffees.
