Rodizio has very good meats and is a good restaurant with mediocre service.
Being from the USA and have traveled to over 30 countries in my life I must say South America has the worst customer service and this place did not change my experience.
I took my wife here for Valentine's dinner and our unattentive service went to being ignored all because we did not want to be upsold to a bottle of wine. My wife didn't want it and I wasn't going to be pressured by the waitstaff to buy a bottle because they kept insisting and trying to say it's Valetines and you need to buy Red Wine to show your love.
They were insulting!
The items on the buffet were nothing more than cheap fruits, basic desserts, salads and basic vegetables.
For the price you pay for the buffet and drinks are extra you don't even get refills. You pay the same price you would pay in the USA and get far less quality of food and not refills and snobby service.
Most of the people who work there most likely cannot afford to eat there but treat the customer like they are better than you because of the status of them working there.
Then if you don't buy into the upscale your left dealing with waiters, waitresses and host with attitudes.
I have never been to a restaurant where the staff had such an egotistical attitude because they felt like working there gave them privileges.
They forget people like us are the ones that pay there pay checks and grew up eating in nice restaurants around the world.
Its good for Peru but its an average over priced restaurant with better service from Golden Coral for us North Americans.
I have been to Rodizio three times now and I won't be coming back. I will say the Rodizio in San Borja is much better than the one in Miraflores.
At least give refills on you basic drinks since you charging more than the USA with unlimited refills
I give it 1...
Read moreCelebrating our anniversary. Found the place on google. Giving tips to consider improving. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated, but wasn’t asked if any of us had food allergies or any sort of allergies to notify kitchen or if we are celebrating something special. At table I notified the meat server that I was allergic to pork meat and I preferred cuts of blue-black to medium rare, in 2 minutes the hostess or supervisor came to table to ask if I had any issues or complaints with the service to which I replied that I informed of my allergy and preference towards the cuts. A salt and pepper grinder would be good on table. Side of French fries was not replaced immediately after finished, with kids you know they mostly eat fries with chicken or meat, I only had 2 servings of fries. The rounds of meats were kind of far apart, I left hungry. They were out of desert, at least the chocolate one. The place is cozy, and there is space for improvement. I hope for my next visit I can experience these...
