Sanguchería El Peruanito — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Not my first time here. I'm giving 4 stars cause this time the bread they used for the chicharrón sandwich was too crunchy, it was like they heated it up in the oven. I still love this place. I easily say that is my favorite -until now- for eating chicharrones (roasted pork meat) in Lima It's located in a centric area of Miraflores district. The restaurant has over 50 years selling this must have The amount of meat they put in the bread is very generous, you can choose your sauce (mayo, golf, spicy, etc) and also the toppings (lettuce, tomato, sarsa criolla -chopped onion with lemon juice salt, pepper and spicy chili- and fried sweet potatoes) you can put all of them if you want Personally I prefer the onion and sweet potato on the side and mayo and spicy sauce in the sandwich The bread is very big and you might struggle a little to eat the whole sandwich They are famous for chicharrón but also have other meats Worth of trying if...

It was kinda whatever but the cheeseburger didn't have cheese it was just a hamburger but it's not there fault bc i guess they didn't have cheese anyway u should not have ordered a cheeseburger since it's not there specialty but whatever anyway the chicharon was okay but how come they don't even toast the bread because they just take pre -made bread and use it which is not even that bad but still pls toast your bread! Anyway it was still pretty good and hopefully I am not being to harsh just doing this review so they can work on it or as just something as for me and my mom's pleasing but again reviews are just away for people to improve😆but tho pls take my advice it will help...

Located on the fringe of east Miraflores. It's been around for something like 60 years to my understanding. Serves great turkey & chicharron (pork) sandwiches. A little pricey(for Peru standards) but worth it. My only complaint & disappointment is that they do not sell sides of the same camotes (sweet potatoe slices )that They put on the sandwiches. They would make more money if they did. Credit cards accepted....
