El Pulpo Paul — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Another lucky find!! So as a visitor to Lima, I would have loved to have tried all the overly hyped places touted by YouTubers, but this place was not one of them. This place is better! As we were headed back to our hotel defeated after leaving a place that had a line down the street, full of eager tourists at some over hyped place, we found this slice of heaven.

El Pulpo Paul like a beacon … it was backed with locals all gleefully chatting away while spooning ceviche into their mouths. I mean, people actually looked like they were loving their dishes, so why not?? We walked in and grabbed a table. What a great decision! As the rule of thumb stands, if the place is backed with locals it must be good.

Service was super attentive.

We loved this place. We were there during Friday lunch hour and had no problems getting a table. We seemed to be the only tourists at that time, which is a good indication of quality if the locals love the place.
