Worth every penny. As you walk up to the door, they will open it for you, and speak to you in English or Spanish, depending on your needs and without any complaint or judgment if the former.
The dining area is supremely cozy, featuring slightly enclosed areas of several tables each. The decor is incredible: massive wine bottles from around the world are suspended in racks on the ceiling and on the walls, a rifle, pistol, and shotgun collection that would rival any museum’s anywhere in the world (ps, they are labeled and you can ask for a little booklet that identifies them.)
The food is perfect, well cooked and carefully plated, you will be very happy with whatever you choose on their expansive menu. We had Causa Volcánica as an appetizer, Ají de Gallina Pizza, and 7-flavor pasta a la carbonara, splitting each between us.
We also had pisco sour, a chillando, and ended the meal with a delicious little espresso.
The staff were courteous and responsive to our requests, providing suggestions when we asked for them.
All in all, we spent about 120 USD at the restaurant where for a similar experience the n the US would have coast us upwards of 250USD.
This is not my first time here and it definitely will not be my last....

Food: Ordered the pulpa de crangrejo ravioli with salsa de langostinos. The sauce tasted like watered-down velveeta. Inedible. I asked a new order with a white wine sauce instead. The sauce had no hint of white wine. The pasta oozed buttery grease. It was topped with stale raw tomatoes and old basil speckled with dark spots. Service: Waitstaff was polite and did their best to give me a better experience, but service was slow.Tried salvaging my greasy pasta by asking for a lemon. Took 15 minutes for them to bring it. Atmosphere: Lively but quiet enough to have a conversation....
Read moreI will say this place did not have great service. We entered when this place was not busy. And sat at a bench on one side and there was a table next to us not open. My husband wanted to sit next to me. And the waiter responded someone needs to sit next to you. We were shocked since this place was vey empty. This should have been our first clue. The waiter was serving another table he sat near us but ignored us. We had to get up and ask another waiter for drinks a bottled beer and glass of wine. And that took another 10 minutes. Then when I asked for juice it took a long time to serve us. Seems the waiter was not happy for us to sit next to each other. We ended up not wanting to eat so paid and departed. I would...
