I stayed at the Novotel Lima in August while visiting my hometown. Although I am Peruvian, I live in Washington, DC, and this trip was centered on caring for my mother’s health. Her apartment is small, and with all the medical equipment, there was no space for me to stay. Booking a room at Novotel turned out to be the best decision, it allowed me to be in my city like a tourist, while feeling completely at home.
From the moment I checked in, the service stood out. My room and room service were always ready to anticipate and enhance my stay. But what made my experience truly memorable was the restaurant. Its menu perfectly balances modern cuisine with some of Peru’s most iconic dishes, like a delicious twist on conchitas a la parmesana and a flavorful lomo saltado.
Yet, beyond the food, it was the people who made the greatest impact. The staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely committed to making me feel at home. My waiter, Victor, welcomed me with a smile every evening and always asked how my mother was doing, a small gesture that meant so much during a difficult visit.
Even though my trip to Lima carried the weight of my mother’s situation, the Novotel team made my time there special and comforting. For that, I am deeply grateful. Gracias a todos at Novotel Lima, you gave me more than just a stay; you gave me warmth, care, and a...

My office in Lima chose the hotel. |On arrival after flight delays making the 16 hour journey a 26 hour journey, the receptionist and security staff were very nice. |Rooms were certainly adequate, I did not have a great view from my 5th floor room, but that’s life. |Breakfast was buffet style and good, the bar staff (especially Victor and John) were very friendly and all the staff would greet you with a smile. |One of the best parts of this hotel was the location.
