Bad food and bad service!!!
We have been staying in Pisac for a week and have tried various places from street food, hole in wall, mom and pop to fancy restaurants. This place is by far the worse experience we had!!!
First the Good: Great balcony place to sit and just watch the town go about in the square. Unfortunately that's about it and you can find the same type of second floor balcony in many other much better restaurants next door.
The Bad: The service was almost nonexistent. This place is also a hotel so when you walk in there is a check in counter. We weren't greeted, no one explain if we can just grab a seat. When the male waiter came by didn't really offer much of a help, he simply just told us we couldn't sit in the first floor table as it was reserved. We took a seat upstairs and he came later with the menu. When he came back he seemed inpatient that we weren't ready to order. Didn't offer suggestions or offer water. We ended up ordering the Quinoa chuafa and Trout with mushrooms
The Ugly: When the food came presentation looks good but the taste was out of this world (in the worst way)
Both the trout and mushroom were so salty if you were to soak them in water you could float like the Dead Sea. It was borderline not edible.
The Chuafa was so underwhelming. The whole thing tasted bland and under seasoned. The egg was tough the chicken was tasteless. Once in a while you'd find a pocket of salty chunks that made me spit it out.
The cherry on top 🍒 When we went downstairs to pay at the check in counter. The server just told the lady some random numbers so they wanted to charge us 100 soles (~$30USD) it wasn't until we corrected them they corrected but still ended up up charging us 5 soles more. It's not a lot of money but it's the final straw for us.
The verdict (TLDR) : The place is also a hotel so overall atmosphere is good but you can get that from other restaurants nearby for much better food and service.
In short save your money and just go next door. We had an amazing time both food and...

We’ve been traveling around Peru for 2-3 weeks now. We enjoy the food from street stands to fine dining. And this is by far the WORST experience we had.
The fish was overcooked and salty. The Chuafa is under seasoning. They not just ok they’re bad.
And eventually the woman OVERCHARGED US until we corrected her. We didn’t even get a sorry.
If you like to enjoy the view of the Pisac square, try other restaurant like La Ruta instead. Where the price is about the same but with amazing food quality. (very delicious) The food quality you get here doesn’t match its...

The problem is the service. It is the SLOWEST on the planet. We ordered 2 cappuccinos with 2 omelettes plates…a typical brunch many people have.
The first 10’ passed came just 1 coffee. Another 10’ passed came another coffee. Another 10’ passed came 2 sets of spoons… another 10’ passed came 2 plates of omelettes.
I guess there is some mathematical hidden puzzle here with the...
